He got to the crystal and his eyes widened in disbelieve as he saw it was his boss calling. Did he need him to do some after hours work? It wasn't like he was a person avoiding work but he really was incapable of doing it right now. Still he oppened the connection, his eyes widening the more he listened to what was being said.
"U-uhm.. y-yes... I.. I... o-okay... Goodbye..", he muttered only, clearly stunned as the connection ended.
Just to make sure he reached to his arm and pinched it hard, flinching at that. Then slowly his smile grew, brightening up his face. How lucky the male called right now, he felt so really weak. And he could take a paid leave! Some tears gathered in the deeply red eyes, Maki wiping them off only for them to come back. At last, once in his life he felt really appreciated. It was a very nice, moving feeling and he loved it.
