Thump, thump, thump, the sound of Keith's footsteps echoed dully through the large area. He looked around the space, it was was a surreal scene, its walls were transparent, outside of them stretched clouds for as far as the eye could see; their colors changing sporadically from light blue to to purple to pink and back again. Within the enclosed space floated countless enormous black rectangles. Occasionally an image would present itself on one, only to return to its blank state in a flash.

"Ah, I see," he said to no one in particular as he read the time "Its 1:00 in the afternoon here, most of the humans are awake and working". He looked up at one of the rectangles and saw that displayed on it was a woman flying by her own power, hands outstretched and a elated smile on her face as the wind ruffled her hair, "Except for a few daydreamers", he chuckled.
"Doesn't look like there will be any trouble here, better move on". He tapped the clear floor twice with his foot and it gave way. He fell through it and hurtled through space before abruptly stopping and floating forward to another cluster of rectangles. "Here we go," he said, looking at his watch and reading the time, 10:00 pm. Many more of the rectangles had images displayed on them, and he could hear noises too. Their sound filled the air with a gentle rabble. He began to stroll around the room glancing here and there at the various screens, checking each one for bad dreams, for that was his job here, to dispel bad dreams, though we wasn't always successful. It was pretty interesting to see what the human subconscious could come up with......
