Al slept peacefully for a couple of hours. But then he was starting to have a nightmare. He was standing on a rock in the middle of a mass body of water. With no sign of land for miles. The waves were big and strong. Having a hard time staying on top. Then he heard a voice, his father's voice. His head appeared in the sky. Talking down on him how he was the shame of the family. That he will never amount to anything in the world. He will never be truly happy. Then the biggest wave came crashing down on him. Knocking him off and sending him into the water. He felt like he could breath. He sees a figure trying to reach out for him, but couldn't tell who it was. He tried to reach it, but couldn't. Then a mermaid came and dragged him further into the water. Soon, he run out of breath.
He woke up and sat up. Panting hard through his mouth and looking around the room. Knowing that he was awake now.
