Victor Grass loved the Inter-School Talent Festival. It gave him ample opportunity to shine as the school President. He cherished being able to promote the budding raw talent among his juniors and polishing it into a competitive advantage. He cherished being able to glorify his school and granting it the status of one of the most prestigious schools, if not the most. He cherished guiding his juniors through inter-school festivals under his leadership.

He cherished the adoring attention heaped upon him, not only by his juniors, but also from attractive young boys from other schools.

Victor smirked as he leaned against the wall, gazing up at the life sized Inter-School Festival Banner, due to begin the following day.

His expensive cell phone beeped softly. It was from Wallace, the President of the biggest rival school which would also be participating in the festival.

He raised an eyebrow as he read the message: "Come over tonight Vicky, and I'll show you what it means to win a competition..."

"No surprise there," chuckled Victor to himself, "first I'm his arch rival, and next I'm 'Vicky'. Though I wonder how seducing me would help him win."

Just as he was about to send Wallace a typically saucy reply, the phone flew out of his hand onto the dirt.

"What the hell?" Victor demanded as he stared in blunt annoyance at the careless young man who had brushed so suddenly against in an attempt to reach the school corridors. The boy stopped and turned back to meet Victor's eyes with his own piercing gaze, through his carelessly ruffled hair.

"Sorry 'bout that," he said in an undeniably tense voice. "Was in a hurry. Getting late."

"I can see that you're late. And what makes you think you can enter school afterthe first bell?" Victor said with a menacing tinge. "You have some nerve. Do you know who I am?"

A strange lop sided smile found its way onto the boy's features, as he shrugged and lowered his gaze to the phone still lying in the dirt.

"Everyone - including that Wallace - knows who you are."

He took a tentative step forward. "The difference between him and me? I don't care."

With that, Krisma rounded on his heels and made his way to the school corridors, just as the second bell rung.
