"Well done Boris," said Victor quietly, "you may now leave."
"But Victor-"
"Leave Boris," Victor reiterated, kneeling down on one knee, "leave the boy to me."
Not daring to disobey the President's commanding tone, Boris scuttled away, pleased with himself for finding such a perfect replacement.
Victor scrutinised the beautiful defiant young boy sprawled on the dirt before him.
"What's the big deal, you ask? The big deal is the Interschool Festival. And as Boris has already told you, you're expected to participate in it."
He cocked his head to one side, and continued talking.
"Well well, we meet again. You said that you knew who I was. Why not try telling me your name?"
