Victor stood still, and smiled slowly as he continued to watch the boy. This kid was more than just different. He was different in a way that Victor found interesting. And he was determined to find out more.
"You misunderstand me. When I said that you were searching for something, I wasn't talking about the office. I was talking about something a bit larger, a bit deeper. You're searching for something and I can help you find it."
Before the boy could respond to that enigmatic statement, Victor continued talking.
"Come along with me," he said smoothly, gently clasping the boy's thin elbow, "and I'll escort you to the office." There was a pause. "And in that way, I'll find out both your name and your class."
Victor made a secret decision to enrol the boy in the Jujutsu event as soon as he found out he necessary details. Of course, a little coaxing was in order.
