That's because the sugar raises the Ph levels, so the harmful bacteria start "corroding" your enamel, thus cavities appear. Plus the E330 citric acid they put in many of them makes does even more damage as it literally eats away your enamel, being an acid and all. You have sensitive teeth, so you should mind your sweet tooth, and use Colgate sensitive, or some other pain relief tooth paste.
