Just as he was about to climb the impressive steps, leading to the library door, Sam started rummaging through his school bag, in search for that damn library card. That was when he came to realize he'd left it at home. It was pointless to go in now, because he wouldn't be able to check out any of the books he needed.
"I hate my life" Sam sighed and turned around to go back home for his library card.
