Jay thanked Farrell as he was hoisted upwards. He looked around, trying to spot their attacker in the worsening snow, which began to crystallise into hail. He heard an unfamiliar, ethereal sound and spun round, spying an unclear, bright blue form among the hail. "A Pokemon!?" he yelled, shielding his eyes from the cold snow.
Figuring that only an Ice-type could summon such a storm, he called after Vanillite "Vanillite, Mirror Shot, now!" The petite icecream cone fired off beams of silver energy intermittently, hoping to pick off the enemy, cloaked in the storm. The noise got louder and the storm died down slightly; the enemy had been hit. Their attacker was definately a Pokemon, although it didn't look like any Pokemon he'd ever seen before; an azure, puffy cloud with an orb suspended in the middle, bearing some sort of face which look extremely angered.
Taking a shot before the storm worsened again, Jay threw a Pokeball in the general direction of the entity, a red light zapping out and drawing the figure into the sphere. It rocked once, twice... Three times, and clicked, signalling the Pokemon had been caught. Instead of the usual elation accompanied with catching a Pokemon, however, Jay huffed deeply in relief - that Pokemon could have killed them.
