"Yeah, some of them are pretty awesome. Most of them get out of control, I prefer not to go to those ones." The boys continued their journey to the dorm. A few kids waved to Ty on his way through, shouting out nicknames and other greetings as they passed by.

"T-Dog!"

"What you saying Ty?"

"Better be at my party tonight!"

Ty just smiled and waved back. He wasn't really paying attention to them. He was more interested in making sure his new roommate felt at home. "Don't worry, they'll be shouting your name soon." Ty gave Nic a friendly smirk as they continued walking.

"By the way, this place is called the Quad. Not really sure why, but it's a cool place to just chill out. It's a great place to socialize, and if you're one of the quiet ones, you don't have to worry, the people here won't bother you." They continued through the Quad until they reached a tall, three-story brick building. Ty and Nic placed their bags on the floor. "This is Jenson Hall. You're new home."

"JEN-SON!" A couple of male students shouted in unison as they walked by. Ty laughed. "Yeah, it seems a bit foolish now, but it won't be long until you start doing that. The dorm spirit is pretty infectious here." They picked up the bags again and entered through the doors of the building and headed to second floor. "Room 202" Ty opened the door and walked inside.

It was a small dorm, with one washroom to the left as soon as you walked in, and one closet to the right, straight across from the bathroom. Ty slipped off his shoes, "You can put your stuff beside your bed." Ty took a few steps in and entered what he called the den. Two beds were set up on the corners of the room, directly parallel form each other. A few inches in front of the beds were desks facing their respective walls, used for studying and other things. The only thing you could see walking into the dorm was the window, situated on the front wall between the two desks, above a lonely radiator.

"I know you're probably tired, so I went ahead and made your bed for you before you came. Feel free to take a shower and stuff before you doze off if you want. I'll be here for the rest of the day, so feel free to ask any questions."
