Ty wanted to surprise Nic. After showering, he headed down to the coach's office to talk about the tryouts today. Ty didn't want Nic to know that he was the star athlete of the team, he wanted him to find out himself, at the tryouts. However, Ty forgot that Nic would need certain medical forms to tryout. He spoke to the coach, begging him to let his friend tryout, explaining to him that he loves soccer and thinks he would make a great addition. Ty was captain of last year's team, so he was already promised a spot on the team by the coach. The coach finally said yes, and told Ty to go get the forms filled out. He gave him the keys to his office and told him to leave the forms in there.
Ty dashed over to the infirmary to get all of Nic's medical files. Unfortunately, it took him the better part of the day to fill them out, making him miss almost the entire tryout. Ty wasn't worried about not making the team, he knew he was going to, he was just upset he didn't get to see Nic play. He finally finished the forms and headed back to the field. He saw the boys line up. Ty decided to head back into the locker rooms. He had a sly idea. He left a note by Nic's clothes, telling him to meet him in the coach's office. He opened the door, turned off the lights and closed the blinds to the office and then locked the door, patiently awaiting for Nic to come in.
