Mark's trick worked...if you could call it that. Mark was too horny to care about anything else, he just wanted Alec to punish him, that's why he bucked wildly at the air. Mark jumped when Alec had his hand around his neck. It was quite ironic actually, Mark was the larger of the two, by far, but here, the smaller one was dominant. He loved it.
