Victor felt something in the pit of his stomach was wrong, but he didn't think anything of it.
Victor stopped and chatted with an old woman who gave him some cookies, and then he went to the park. There was a large underground lake in the center of the city, Victor loved it, and wanted to take Dietrich to it. He was at peace, and had no entention of moving. Dietrich was a super human, he could take care of his self.
