Envy bit his lower lip hard, ignoring the small trickle of blood that leaked down over his chin, the wound was all ready healing anyway. He looked off to the side, glaring.
If Ed wanted to do things alone then so be it. Maybe that was the problem anyway, he had spent too much time with the chibi. They had become far too close. This was good really, a break.
Abruptly, Envy stood and turned his back to Edward. "Then go on alone." He stepped off, free falling to the ground, the impact cracked the earth under his feet, creating a small hole, but he was out of it and moving soon enough, leaving Ed back in the tree. The chibi didn't need or want help fine. He could go back to his mission of simply observing. Before that though, he needed a break himself..and maybe a chance to vent.
He still couldn't believe Ed had found him..crying..he had shed tears over the bastard....he couldn't forgive himself for it.
