Shikamaru was caught a bit off guard when Naruto pulled him in for a kiss, but he welcomed it none the less. He returned the kiss the best he could, pressing his lips softly against Naruto's as they slowly parted from each other. Shikamaru did nothing but smile, and blush a little. He was still amazed at how something as simple as a kiss could make him so happy.
Shikamaru placed his hand over his partner's, holding it gently in his as the snuggled up to his lover, resting their heads together. Shikamaru then noticed the movement of the clouds and noticed it was time. He tilted his lover's face towards the sun, watching the sky light up in such brights oranges and yellows as the sun began to set. "Isn't it beautiful?" Shikamaru said. He nestled his head in his lover's neck, cuddling up to him as close as possible.
