L nodded as the cab pulled up, not really noticing the dismay that was going on with Light. For one, he just figured the other male was cold...Even though out of the two, L was the one with out the coat. "Would you rather head home or go back and begin working some more?" he asked while holding the door open for the other male. He didn't really want to force Light to go work while he wasn't feeling well. Maybe the other just needed the night off, get things straight and then work can start back up again the next morning. There was nothing wrong with having to step away from work for a while to clear one's mind.
