He chuckled when the Harpy snatched the fish away before retreating again in order to eat them. It was fascinating to watch the creature. He was beautiful to look at and with a voice that matched his looks. However, his smile faded when he heard why the Harpy's song had been so sorrowful.
"You're trying to hatch an egg all alone?" he asked.
This got him to thinking for a moment and finally an idea hit him.
"I may be just a stranger to you but might I be allowed to aid you? All I ask in return is that you sing for me each day." he told him.
Lorien had no family so helping to hatch an egg was no big deal for him. Besides, it would allow him to learn more about this magnificent creature before him.
