Cale was about to get up from his spot again when he heard him. He huffed and moved to another spot “I suppose it’s a normal thing but we do have seasons of where harpies go into heat. Every couple of months I think” he muttered softly. At this he started to think and then he started to think again after another thought popped into his head. He tried counting back and then groaned “Oh no…” he said as he sat up “It’s that time isn’t it? No wonder I feel so damn uncomfortable…” he said rolling onto his stomach and looking up at him.
The harpy watched with grey eyes. He didn’t have his mate here to do that kind of... .thing with and he doubted the other would even consider doing that with him. Cale got up “I think I need to go for a few hours until this passes. It might make me pretty agitated and I don’t want to hurt you or the egg” he said starting to stand up.
