It was a sunny day as usual, he could hear couples giggling and cooing outside his home, he hated it so much, the tall brunette had actually began to close the windows and keep the sun from shining into his home, he stopped sun bathing on his roof and finally stopped cloud watching, this man that was actually jealous was Shikamaru Nara. Shikamaru didn't really notice the outside world much sense his Sensei's passing, he did know people were hooking up and all that jazz, but whenever Shikamaru tried to picture whom he wished to date, but all he could picture was Asuma. To Shikamaru Asuma was so much more then his Sensei, he was his lover, his boyfriend and he had hoped possibly more, of course the Akatsuki saw to cut that short, literally.
Shikamaru gripped his lit cigarette between his index and middle finger, he gently lifted it from his lips and removed the cigarette before blowing out a puff of smoke. Shikamaru never use to smoke, but after his Sensei passed he picked it up as a habit, one he refused to give up no matter what, he has happy knowing that the more he smoked the closer he was to being with Asuma again, as slow a pace as it was, after all he he smoked more then he did he was sure Tsunade would be all over his ass. Shikamaru looked at the cigarette and sighed ans he took one last long drag before putting it out in his ash try and sitting up from his bed.
Shikamaru hadn't left his home unless there was a mission, which thanks to the other villages finally getting into gear there were very few to go around, not that he complained about it though. Shikamaru would light up another cigarette and take a drag before hearing someone knock on his door, he got up and walked to the door, he swore if it was Kiba here to brag about amazing sex he would strangle the mutt. Shikamaru opened the front door wearing only his boxers and fishnet tank top, he scratched his chest and stared at Naruto with a questioned look on his face, he wasn't expecting Naruto. Shikamaru took the cigarette from between his lips before exhaling and speaking, "Shouldn't you be off with your boyfriend or whatever?" not knowing that Naruto was still single seeing as how knew Sai was even taken.
