Thats certainly a huge bonus. I mean, I love fangirls (I really do, especially when Bi. Some girls can get anything they like from a dumb-het guy enticing him with fake lez-off stuff; Fangirls go mad at the site of two guys together and you can in turn get anything out of them~) but often they're into some pretty weird things that are a turn-off for most gay/bi Men.
I know I don't like MPreg and I think the heavy-handed and unrealistic way they like and portray their seme/uke relationships is often extreme, oftentimes I find it unsexy to hte point of being revolting. Possibly its absense has helped the male ratio?
I'm not against more females on the site, they're usually great artists and fun roleplayers and I'm not trying to say we're better off without them... I just think that we've managed to attract and retain more men due to the pure-gay slant on the artwork here. Its certainly not deliberate, as I say, I'd love more females on the site as much as more males - all contributers welcome!

Yeah im fangirl myself and i can tell u off the bat that what most in yaoi that fangirl like i dont to be honest with ya. I prefer bara, harecore, and non-mpreg fanfics stories simply because im realist.
