Topher smiled yet again, hugging Zeke tighter before whispering. “Night night Zeke. Have good dreams.” The young man yawned, keeping himself close to the large wolf and trying to open his eyes, but he just felt so comfy and warm, as though she was snuggling a big ball of heated fur. Smiling very faintly, Topher’s body relaxed even more, falling asleep in just a matter of a few seconds with his arms wrapped around Zeke’s body.

Zeke stayed awake but had his eyes closed as his mate rested with him. Pride and love raged highly within his chest at this. He loved his mate and was happy his mate was happy.

In his sleep, Topher was having one of his many nightmares. He held tighter onto Zeke’s fur as his father filled his dreams yet again. Shivering in his sleep, Topher pressed his head against the wolf in front of him, sniffling lightly and trembling in fear.
After a few seconds more, the dream woke him up when his dad suddenly pushed him down the stairs, the fall making him jolt up, his eyes wide to look around but he wasn’t in his house….he was still inside of the warm tent. Blinking a few times to adjust to the darkness, Topher noticed amber eyes looking at him and he instantly whispered.
“Zeke? You’re awake?” Topher asked in a very low and shaky tone of voice.

Zeke had sensed his lovers anxiety and cuddled closer until Topher bolted upright and asked, Zeke moved and licked his mates cheek softly and whined, curling his body around his mates.

Rubbing his eyes slowly, Topher felt that lick and very faintly smiled. It was just a nightmare, just like the others. With a deep breath, he wrapped his arms around Zeke yet again, looking at him and wondering how long he’d be a wolf. He thought it was until the moon set and the sun came out.
Looking at the tent, it was still dark out, knowing he must have only slept an hour at the most. Looking at Zeke, Topher kissed his muzzle and smiled lightly. “Are….are you tired?” He asked while peeking up into his beautiful eyes.

Zeke tilted his head some as he watched his mate think, nudging him softly at the kiss. His amber eyes watched his mate with worry and love as he asked the question his shook his big head lightly, careful not to jassle his mate much.

When Zeke shook his head, Topher furrowed his eyebrows. He could only ask questions of course, it wasn’t like the big wolf could answer him back in sentences. Not wanting to sleep when Zeke was awake, Topher then smiled and whispered.
“If you aren’t sleeping, then I’ll stay up with you until you shift back.” Topher muttered softly as he ran his fingers in his wolfs fur, getting behind his ear and giggling as he scratched there. “I don’t want to sleep when you’re just laying here.” he then said in a much softer voice.

Zeke growled softly loving the scratches his mate gave, but hearing his mate wouldn't sleep he let out a warning growl and nudged his mate back to his belly to lay. Signaling he wanted his mate to sleep more.

Topher’s cheeks tinged with colour when he heard that growl coming from Zeke. He pouted momentarily before whispering. “Aw, but Zeke….” Sighing and laying back down, Topher smiled from how gentle he was, even as a large wolf.
“Fine. But promise me to wake me up when it’s morning.” He asked as he kept his hands on his fur, holding onto him with tired eyes.

Zeke licked his mates cheek lovingly as an ok. He sat up and took watch over his love, not wanting anything wrong to happen tonight. This night was to be a beautiful one for his mate, showing his love for the small boy with gentlness and care.
