Bara vs. everything else

So, I'm aware that, in the world of illustrated sex,
one has to weed through a lot of ridiculous crap
to find what one is looking for...
my question is this;

Couldn't there be a special section for sites/forums..etc...which
feature shota/esque material so bara fans wouldn't
have 'boingus interuptus' when they come across art featuring
wimyn or kidz?

I mean, illustration has a huge gray area...and the community seems to
accept that a character in his 20's or 30's can be drawn to look 13...
or the double-character art where and adult is pictured in some suggestive
pose with a tiny "kid" version of himself in the pic...

Doesn't this bother anyone?

No offense..l think I'm really looking for less "middle ground" on the part of admins so I don't even have to look at a hentai or quasi-shota pic to find muscly guys....you know?

Well Shota isn't allowed on the site, and is deleted when it's found; if there are pics that you feel are shota, then you should report them so that the mods can deal with them.

I'm afraid that generally the term Yaoi has the tendency to be associated with and related to the more feminine and pretty varieties of male.

See, that's what I'm talking about. Look at the banners, the fan pix.
Most of the illustrations look like kidz under 13.
If I reported them, the admins would say
"the characters are supposed to be teens"
as if the age of the character matters when your you're looking at pic
that's obviously a baby...

I'm not against shota fans, in fact, I view it as therapeutic for people who
are into that kinda thing...I just don't want to have to see it.

There's a fine line between shota and non-shota, and it doesn't depend on the age of the actual anime character (so for example, some Ash Ketchum yaoi isn't considered shota)

Shotacon is the art style and usually portrays pre-pubescent children. This can be distinguished by looking at the size of the penis in the picture, the size of the body and the size of the head in relation to the body (younger characters tend to have big heads for their body size, big eyes and the suchlike).

If you find such a thing, then report it - but if you don't want to see pictures of teens in the mid-teen range, then I would suggest just skimming over it, because it isn't considered shota and no action will be taken against such a picture.

Frequent the bara gallery - you're unlikely to find teens in there.

Seriously,if you don't like what you find here,report it or go Y-Galleries. We do our job. Shota is pre-puberty anything else is not shota and will NOT be deleted.

Thats a pretty shitty arguement line to take, you're essentially accusing everyone of liking pics of anyone under the age of 20 of being a pedo.

You make it sound like this site is overflowing with shota which is rubbish since this site has the strictest policy's on shota.

This isn't a bara only site, I think at a guess you're problem is you don't know the difference between Shota and Uke's.

Uke's are submissive males drawn submissively - they sure as hell arn't shota and I'm suspicious that you're just dismissing everything that shows a slightly effeminate male as shota.
If you've got some specific complaint about specific pictures, please do post URLs (Don't report them, the gallery software is not as good as the forum software, we may never get your reports properly) so we can see what you're talking about.

This may not be the OPs intention, but it reminds me very negatively of that bizzare thread a while ago where various members posted hatred of effeminate gay men with the strange opinion of "I pump Iron, I'm a real man, I'm the right sort of gay. Those flaming queers, I don't like them... they're the wrong sort of gay."
