My name is BlueFlower, and I am quite excited to be here. I am a big yaoi fan in general, both manga and anime, so when I saw that this site existed, I nearly squealed as any fangirl should. Especially when I saw that there was a RPing section. But I refrained myself, and instead decided to just join this site. Therefore, I am now here, introducing myself and hoping I can become a part of an RP or two in the near future. With that said, let me commence with a few key points about myself as a role-player:
1) First and foremost, I like detailed posts. I will admit that I can lack creativity at times, and can only post a two to three sentence post. Nobody is perfect, and I don't expect any more from my fellow RPer than I can expect from myself. The majority of the time, however, I will strive to make at least a few five-sentence paragraphs per post. This sometimes may mean there is only a few posts a day, but I tend to find it more entertaining if posts are long and full of details. Especially with yaoi.
2) Recursive planning. With every RP, I like to do a lot of planning out before attempting to tackle the RP itself. This is usually done via private messaging, since I find it one of the easiest ways to get in touch with a fellow RPer. I tend to be a stickler about this, because I am a person who can be confused easily and I want to make sure I am on the same page as you are. Thus the term "Recursive" comes into play. Even while in the middle of RPing, we may continue planning for future events that are to come. I'm one of those Rpers who cares about her characters and wants to make sure everything runs smoothly story-line wise. So, if you want to RP with me, just know we'll be spending a lot of time private messaging one another with plans.
3) My preferences? I love softcore, hardcore, and anything in between or beyond. I tend to play the uke/bottom type characters, but I can play a seme/top type on occasion. I enjoy both mono and poly relationships as well. The only things I am inexperienced about are playing flat out pets (the ones with tails and everything, I can handle normal-ish slaves) or girly type boys. My boys may be softies, but they tend to be more masculine than some of the typical yaoi. In fact, a lot of RPs I like to be in are either where my character is a complete rebel with a lot of attitude, or a hurt/comfort type where he's in need of lots of love, care, and attention. Normal romance RPs are fun, but I am a very kinky person at heart: spankings, BDSM, or something very similar is what I may strive for.
Now, after that I want to tell you right now: I am far from perfect. In real life, I may be an avid reader and writer, college student working on her major in English, but I can make mistakes, and my creative juices may fail me at times. In fact, there may be times I go a day or two without posting just because I can't find it in me to create the right post at the moment, and I never want to disrespect an RP with a one to two sentence post if I can help it.
I assure you, though, that I do have a lot of RPing experience. I been RPing since I was a pre-teen, and been a part of a lot of forums developing my skills to where they are at now. I am even a part of AnimeOTK and am about to take part (I drifted away, but am now returning) in a few RPs there. I hope to meet, befriend, and become RP buddies with a few of you on here. RPing has been a passion of mine, and yaoi also. So to put the two of them together... well, let's just say I can hardly wait!
