How do you normally deal with people who want to know of your...

I usually tell the person who wants to know. I'm not in the closet nor am I completely open about it. If they bring it up I have no reason to lie so i'll just tell them straight forward and move on.
Well...I wasn't always like that...I lied for a few years until I found one person I could trust.

It can be *really* awkward for me at times. My Dad's family (mostly religious) will often inquire about potential girlfriends in the pipeline and I just reply with "I'm not interested in girls" but my Dad always butts in and suggests I'm not into girls *YET* or that I don't have time to be interested in girls because of my studies.

Never used to be as easy as saying that I'm not interested in girls though, when I was younger, about 14, I would just say I didn't have a girlfriend without alluding to the fact that I'm actually not interested in girls.

Of course, if someone outright asked me if I were gay then I'd say yes, I mean they asked the question, so why wouldn't they want to hear the answer? :P

well i havent had much expreince with that either since i tend to be very mysterious about my life and better that way cause of some twisted joke of fate i am unable to lie everytime someone asked me this question like you gay or like both i turned red like a tomato wich makes the answear quite obvious -.-...thank god the few peopel that found out are dead or in another country if my religious family find out i will be dead >>

well,in my opinion,it depends on the crowd. i can say im gay cause I like boys and im not attracted to girls ANYMORE ) but i'm discreet,you know, masculine type not flamboyant sort of gay =)) my friends are straight and they know about my sexual orientation,and it's ok for them.so it really depends on the people around you.

Most of the people who asked me that question were dirt bags who were trying to make fun of me. So I usually ignored them and went about my business. I'm just a yaoi artwork fan. Never really felt the need to be with anybody, boy or girl. I'm a loner, and I really don't trust people (cause 99.99% of the times they turn out to be backstabbing jerks). So I really couldn't tell anyone about my hobby, or my prefferences.
