Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on Yaoi Ai:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 2 or more posts who has been a member over a week) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 30 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

It must take a lot of courage, inner strength and determination to come to peace with who you are. Sorry to hear about your cousin. He must have tried hard to change, so as not to be rejected, ridiculled or even despised by others.
Some people overreact if they find out a friend or someone they know is different. They push that person away. Hell, maybe they even become violent with that person. So I sort of understand your cousinn's struggle.
But at the same time, I share your point of view. It doesn't matter what others think, or say. What truly matters is that you feel good about yourself, and ejnoy the life you have.

I actually nearly got caught just now reading some yaoi, right when it got good >.>;;;; Thank goodness they knocked before opening the door. Though why knock when you're just going to open the door anyway?

lol, it's just kinda stressful. I constantly have to look over my shoulder to see if the coast is clear. I almost got caught reading a yaoi manga on my pc, from mangafox. the characters were really gettin it on. had anyone managed to see that, my life would have been over...

I haven't been caught yet. but i have had some very close calls. Earlier today one of my friends walks straight into my room while I was on this site. I quickly fullscreened a movie I had playing in the background. My first thaught after that was FML.
