The sin whipped his head around toward Edward at the sound of his cries, violet eyes hard and dark. The utter bitterness and animosity he felt was practically rolling off of him in waves. Just looking at the alchemist made him remember every single minute of his torment he had felt within that damned sealing array.

He had let Edward in before and the brat had made him feel and then burned and pushed him away and on top of it he had been sealed for almost a month BECAUSE of Edward! Admittedly some part of him didn't want to see the brat hurt and was protecting him, but for now Envy refused to acknowledge that as anything more than his duty, keep the runt safe and functional.

As far as their budding relationship was concerned, in Envy's mind it had withered and died a month ago.

Ed almost felt fear when he met those cold violet eyes, It was as if the sin had slapped him with the look, Ed refused to look away. he knew by that look, he had lost Envy...lost him for good...and it was his fault.

"Thanks..." Ed said with drawing his hand that had been outstetched and painfull rolled over on his side, the wounds now bleeding fresh.
"I'm sorry" he wisperd.

Envy sneered as he crossed the room back to the bed and began to adjust Ed's displaced bandages, staunching the bleeding somewhat. The faster the boy healed the better.

"You think that makes up for it all? You'll never be sorry enough Elric." Envy hissed and abruptly wrenched Edward's head up by the hair.

"As soon as I have the freedom to do it, I'll kill you."

Ed winced at being pulled by his hair.

"How about I save you the trouble!" Ed said, feeling hopeless and now dead inside...there was no point to his life anymore.

"by this time tomarrow, I will no longer be a thorn in your side.....I am just glad yours will be the last face I remember seeing before I do the happy deed."

Ed had a plan to commit himself to the gate, it would not only put him out of his misery, but it would give Al back his body, he was tired of all this, and it was time to end it.

Envy scowled and shook Edward roughly. A ghostly sensation of panic clutched at him and was only barely detectable in his voice.

"What are you talking about huh?! You're mine to kill! No one else has the right!"

The sin twitched faintly, his thoughts whirling. Without realizing he was doing it, he began to stroke his fingers through Edward's golden hair, his touch much gentler than it had been in a long time, reminiscent of a month prior to this encounter.

It didn't matter if Edward wasn't his..lover..anymore..the boy was still his. His mission, his alchemist, his failure...his.

There it was, the touch that Ed had been longing for he closed his eyes to soak it in, he had missed that touch, had been careless to toss it away so quickly with his words. he would not make that mistake again.

Ed smiled opening his eyes....looking into those familiar intnese violet eyes.

"My mind is made up, there isnt anything you can do to stop me.....unless you kidnap me."
Ed said tounge in cheek, he wondered just how far he would have to go to get Envy back into his life, yes it was manipulative and Ed felt bad, but he was desperate to do anything to be held in Envys embrace again.

Envy stared hard at Edward, a deep scowl crossing his features as he considered what to do. Well ultimately he was ordered to keep the brat alive until further notice so if kidnapping the little runt was the only to do it he could handle that.

"Fine..but you won't have the luxury of seeing any of your friends or that annoying clanking sibling of your's." He sneered, gathering up the bedsheets around Edward and sliding the boy over a shoulder. He tossed his head slightly, his hair swaying back against the side of Edward's face as he bounded across the room and vaulted from the window, the sprint out of Central was quick as he traveled over rooftops, the city streets flashing by below.

At the very last house Envy jumped up into the air, throwing Ed and shifting his form to that of a large winged beast, he ignored a startled cry of 'Dragon!' from the house below and caught Edward in his front claws, carrying the boy with him across mountains and over grassy fields and forests. Central vanished below them in a matter of minutes, but Envy was heading in a different direction then Risembol, veering off to go toward the great sea which for the time being appeared as a thin, sapphire line on the horizon.

Ed had not really expected Envy to actually follow through with kidnapping him, he had said it as more of a joke, he let out a started gasp as Envy carried him throug the air, his heart thumping fast as he looked down....he felt sick and closed his eyes.

"Hey!!..where are you taking me!!?" He couldnt keep the panic from his voice.

He wasnt scared to be taken away from Central, he could not have cared less if he ever say anyone from Central again...not after what they had done to him, he would worry about Al, but knew he would be alright, nothing could really hurt him in his condition.

Envy wasn't exactly sure where he was taking Edward initially. He had been around a long time and over the years he had found various ruins that he had set up as private places to escape from his brothers and sisters during the times when Father didn't have much for him to do.

There was a small island some distance from the main land that was uninhabited now but had once sustained a small village with a rather pompous magistrate at its head. If he recalled correctly after the people had been destroyed..fuel for another stone...had that been part of Sloth? He couldn't quite recall. Nonetheless the richly furnished house of the magistrate was still standing.

That was his destination.

"An island..careful now, I wouldn't want to drop you into the ocean, a shark might get you.." He trailed off before adding on the tasty shrimp like you part, but he thought it all the same. Something just kept the words off his tongue...a reluctance to play with the boy.

Ed still sensed that Envy was still being distant from him, but it diddnt matter, he had cared enough to kidnap him that was a good enough start.

The last thing Ed wanted was to be dropped so he stayed still, but still was fighting to urge to throw up.

"are we there yet?" Ed couldnt help but white a bit, if they diddnt get there soon he would lose his lunch.
