Ivan had it all set up. He had a table with wine spiked with a sleeper agent and a full-course Russian meal waiting. He'd make it look like a simple meeting to discuss their companionship without giving anything away as to what he was hiding. He made his way to the door and answered with a warm smile. "Hello, China. Please, come in."

Ivan closed the front door and walked behind Yao into the dining room where he pulled his hands out from behind his back to pull a chair out for Yao. He had to remind himself to not drink the wine, but not make it look suspicious either. Yao wasn't a fool.

Ivan poured wine into both glasses and sat down across from Yao. "Well, I knew you've been quite busy recently and decided to help you relax. We can talk about anything you'd like. How is your economy coming along?" he asked as he rose once again to start serving the food, placing some meats on Yao's plate.

Yao scratches his chin a bit and takes his word on this picking the glass gently and brings it next to the plate. "Still stressing over from the Opium War even though that happen a long time ago. In short, my economy is almost out of the hole that's trying to climb out, aru." Running his finger around the glass circle while staring at the liquid.
