Elias tried to calm himself down. One of his rules was to never punish while angry. Anger blurred the line between punishment and abuse. He tried telling himself that James didn't mean to break the bowl. Not that the punishment wouldn't still be justified. Masters would make decisions based on actions, not intentions.

He shut the door behind James. Pulling out a skeleton key, he undid the handcuffs. "Now, on your knees, chest to the floor." While James followed the command, as he trusted the other would do, he grabbed some of his tools. He was calmer now, deciding if he should use a paddle, or a belt.

James was grateful to be out of the handcuffs, just wishing he would undo his leg cuffs now. He got into position putting his stomach on the floor. Elias would undo the leg cuffs when they got in the way. For now, they didn't interfere with the punishment at all. Elias finally selected a paddle, one with a little bit of squish to it.
