Quirk of Fate [private for me and Ybfan]

As his alarm clock started to ring Dario opened his eyes almst immediately and switched it off. Stretching on the bed with his muscled stomach and nicely shaped chest on the plain view he yawned. Feeling all energetic now he stood up from the bed. After making himself breakfast and fixing his look (shaving etc.) he went out of his flat. Closing the door he decided to take car today. It seemed like it would be raining and drying his neat clothes would be a hassle, although he really liked rain. As he at last got to work he immediately got sucked in by the things he needed to take care of.

Breakfast was good for a diner as Paul drank a pot of coffee on his own and ordered the hungry mans breakfast that included biscuits with sausage gravy, 3 eggs over easy, 3 links of sausage and bacon, hash browns, and of course 3 stack of pancakes covered in butter and syrup.

"The amount of food you eat disgusts me," joked Karen as she ate her french toast with eggs and bacon.


"Well I did exert a lot of energy you know," he grinne like an idiot. "Plus work is going to be tiresome so. Just trying to get some extra energy."


"Or send yourself into a food coma."


The pair chuckled as they finished breakfast and he took Karen to th bar to see if there was any work for her that day and he headed to the station. Looking up to the sky he let out a sigh, "shit. Looks like it might rain."

After few hours he at last was able to seat down. Dario was a busy man. He liked to locate his money and stocks and shares and due to that simple reason he had a lot of money. Though he never kept them in one place and almost everything interested him. Though he wasn't stupid and was sure to keep everything under false names and such. After all he was a demon and he couldn't let it be known just by anyone. The people that knew were only demons. There was one human thirty years ago that knew his indentity but he was dead by now. He simply died from an old age. Sitting behind his desk and eating some Chinese his thoughts drifted to the man he was feeding from right now. And kind of messing with. Human were such interesting beings. Would that one find him.. or he would decide to live with what he left him. The curse making him horny so many times each day?

Work was work as he was told about the case and given the previous case files for the murders. Personally, Paul thought his head was going to explode from all the information and the harder thing was to go out and find the witnesses or people who knew the victims to see if there was anything they secretly knew. Sure he hated using his ability like that to people who didn't know, but right now, things were slowly getting out of hand since he couldn't help break the case.

"Shit..." he muttered as he stood up and looked over the files. Surely there was something here he just missed and that in itself would break the case.

Leaving thinking about other male for some other time he focused on the work. He was done before seven and headed home. Ordering some Japanese food he switch on the tv. Eating and drinking some beer he took his sweet time to relax. Dario even switched off his cell phone for now. As the time flew he felt himself getting horny so he simply took care of it, imaging Paul being tied down and punished for being such a damn bastard. That made him smirk.

Paul took an extra long lunch as he went home to relieve himself and he remembered the words that the brat told him about how he won't really be able to find release. That little shit is lying... he thought as he continued stroking himself.

By the evening time he was on his way home while stopping my a local fast food joint and ordered some burgers and fries. "This is getting me nowhere..." he sighed and upon entering his apartment he took off his coat and sat down on the couch before he began to devour his meal.

Washing his hands in the sink he decided to play a little bit with the other male. But that would need to wait until he would be sleeping. Smiling to himself he went back to watching TV and drinking his beer.

As Paul ate, he reviewed his notes and took out another sheet of paper to look over everything again and to see if he missed anything. So far all he saw was a headache, but forced himself for the next few hours to review them all none the less. He did come up with an illogical concept, but should he even think about such things right now? Well...if I run out of options here I might just have to... he thought as he got up to make some coffee.

Sighing to himself when he didn't feel the conection forming between him and his victim he decided to go and paint a bit. Yes. Maybe it was a bit strangre.. or maybe not.. but Dario liked art. Always did. Though on the other hand he had so much more hobbies than he had time for them.. Still it was nice and relaxing to do that right now.
