Oddly enough though he doesn't really go out and parties like the other students. Instead he focuses on his studies and landed himself a job as an HR assistant for the university. Since he is good at what he does, he is pretty much promised the job once he graduates, which is in another few years since he is going after his Masters.

You can say that Gabriel and Kyle knew each other since they had classes together when they were Freshman and Sophomores in college. It must of been some cruel twist of fate for them to have one to two classes a term together for the two years since they both were the top of their class in English, Math, Literature, Music, and Science. Gabriel was a well known trouble maker in school and Kyle was the exact opposite. In fact, he already secured a job in the university once he got his BA and is now working towards his Masters.

Once their general studies were finished, they didn't really run into each other that often. However Kyle tried to put their rivalry aside and try to become friends with Gabriel. Sure that didn't always work out well, but Kyle must've been a glutton for punishment as some of the students would say for his continuous interaction attempts.

Gabriel knew he is anything than perfect. His parents always made sure to let him know what a bloody disapointment he is - being gay and notorious trouble maker. And his major. That was wrong too ofcourse. He should be a lawyer just like his parents and sister.
"That damn goose", he muttered grittings his teeth.
This day was already bad as it was. He took off his glasses and rubbed his face with a hand.
Enough is enough, damn it..
He checked his classes table. Literature.
Kyle Williams.. Mr. Perfect.
No. He didn't hate him. As a matter of fact he didn't hate anyone besides his parents. Kyle was handsome and was good with his studies. Also had a great ass. But..
But what you pussie. Yes you are much to twisted to be friends with him. He is everything that you are not....
And that was why he couldn't do anything other than don't let Kyle win also in here, on uni. Gabriel sighed already hating himself.

"It seems we are in the same class again since it's been a while," Kyle says to Gabriel from behind and hopes that he didn't scare the young man from suddenly speaking to him.

Gabriel jumped dropping the books which he held in his hand. He turned and threw Kyle one long tired look.
"So it seems", he muttered picking up his books from the floor. "Were you good kid and listen to your parents?", but even his sarcasm was lacking energy.
It is not my day.

"Let me help," Kyle bends down to help Gabriel with his books that dropped and gave an apologetic smile. "Is everything okay? You are not your feisty self."

Ignoring the question, Kyle gives him the last book and catches himself staring at Gabriel's face. With a smile and a hint of pink barely touching his cheeks, Kyle smiles at him, "So we are tied with three wins each, do you think this will be a tie breaker?" With that he tries to walk with him to class and even opens the door for him.

"T-thanks", Gabriel mumbled completely unprepared for the kind gesture." Well I DO think it will be interesting time for us both", he smiled with a twinkle in his eyes.
It made him feel somewhat better. But then Kyle had such influence on the people. Or maybe just on him? It is imposible right? That thought made ​​him feel uncomfortable again.
