Start of A New Adventure ((For Heartless650))

First we are born into the world. Then we play innocent games and make many things. When he go through the change, we worry more about fitting in with others and may loose ourselves in the progress. Some may overcome it, while others continue to fall. It can start as early as entering middle school. Will you get good grades? Will you make any friends? Will you be someone or an outcast? So many questions in such three years. Then you are off to high. Will you be able to pass your classes? Can you find someone to go to the dance to? Most important, will you be able go to a college? Sure much pressure on the young. It's no wonder that some would do anything to get away from it all. Play video games, skip classes, or even just drop out. After so much studying, peer pressure, and stress all together. A New Adventure will begin. Or so people will say. For some times a new adventure will start earlier then what you expect.

So are story begins at a nice size apartment complex, inside the city limits. They just finished repainting the outside and put in new windows on the first floor. It was known as 'Hollow Hearts'. Run by a sweet woman who's been here since day one. On the second floor and room 12 lived a young lad. Who was having some money issue. He couldn't pay all his rent on time. He was grateful enough that the landlord was patient with him, but he still needed to find a way. So he put up an ad in the newspaper and on the web. For a roommate. Hoping that someone would reply.

Who the the young lad? His name is Arashi Abe. He was about 18 years old. yet he looked younger then that. He was a bit of a strange fellow. For one he mostly have his greasy coco brown hair covering his face. You have to look real closely if you wanted to see his stunning blue eyes. Like he was ashamed by the way he looks. Another thing it under his baggy clothes he was wrapped in bandages. You can see them wrapped around his whole arms and neck. Like he ran off from the hospital. He skin was rather pale and he looks like he hadn't anything to eat. Standing only at 5'6", he looked like a stick.

Right now he was sitting on a couch, waiting for someone to come on by or to call about the room.

Ichiku has been having a hard time of his own with apartments. While looking in the local newpaper, Ichiku came across an ad that seemed to be interesting. Seemed as though someone else needed a room mate. "Well, I don't really have anywhere else to go. I'm sure this person can't be that bad." Ichiku thought to himself.

Going to the local phone booth, Ichiku dialed the number that was in the paper. Ichiku waited for someone to answer while listening to the dial tone.

He heard the phone ringing and picked it up. Sighing a little and rubbing his right eye. "Mm, hello?" he mumbled. Sounding a bit sleepy. For it's been a couple of days since he actually slept. You would tell from the the dark circles. If his hair wasn't in the way. He was wondering who was calling he had so many people call him different things. Hoping it was about the room.

Ichiku coughed thinking that no one would pick up. "Sorry about that. My name is Ichiku. I'm looking for someone by the name Arashi? I saw the ad in the paper and I wanted to know more about the offer." Ichiku was extremely nervous. He was trying to get into college and find a good place to settle in.

Ichiku was hoping for the best in the conversation.

"Yeah, I'm Arashi. I'm the one who put the ad in. What is it that you want to know?" he asked. Rubbing the the back of his stiff neck. He was glad to hear that someone was calling for the room.

"Um...probably just general stuff like how big the place is and stuff. I'm kinda looking for a good place to settle down in. I'm sort of on my way to college soon and I want to be able move around easily you know?" Ichiku was trying to sound as friendly as possible. He didn't want to seem like the person who would just take the spot and leave afterwards, no. Ichiku wanted a firm place to stand.

"Is there a way we could possibly meet somehow? I'd like to get the chance to know you a bit more before I make my final decision. That is if you are okay with that." Ichiku didn't want to seem like an awkward person either. He felt as though he was asking Arashi out on a date for some reason.

The one thing about Arashi is that he felt so out of place when stepping to the outside world. He always feels so miss out of place and a little scared. Like every eye was on him. Just because he looked a little different. Yet he was going to have a roommate soon so he have to deal with it somehow. When it also came to meeting them face to face. He gets so shy and his voice cracks a little. Making him sound like a young teen. Which doesn't help with his image. Still if going out to meet meant that he could get a roommate, then he'll do it. Taking a deep breath. He stood up. "Sure. There a little cafe near the apartment. It's called 'Star Dust'. Think you know your way there. Or is there a place you like to meet up at?" he asked. Sounding shy as well.

"Nope. Actually Star Dust is perfect. I'm not that far away from the place either. Do you have some time today by chance?" Ichiku was slightly rushing things. He didn't know what was coming over him. Ruffling his blondish hair, he eagerly waited for an answer.

[Kaido]

"...No. I'm free. I'll be there in a few minutes. Look for someone who's a freak." he said and hanged up. He looked around his place to see if it was good enough to take pictures to show Ichiku. From the looks of it, it wasn't so bad, but he was just looking at the living room/ kitchen. He threw away the trash and put the things he needed to hide away. Grabbing the camera from the table, he took a few snaps shots of the place at different angles. Then he moved to the one bathroom in the place. Rather small. Only had a sink, toilet, and a shower stand. No tubs. Then he took pics of the emptied room, which will be his, if he decided to move in. It was a pretty good size space. Not to big, but not to small either.

Once Arashi had loaded the pics to his laptop. He placed it in a bag and changed into some clean clothes. Since he's been wearing the same thing for the passed three days. He put on a black long sleeve shirt. Follow by a dark wash gray T-shirt. With a pair of bleached, wore out jeans and dirty white sneakers. He was ready to roll out. Locking the place behind him.

It was only a two minutes walk from the apartment, so he goes there for breakfast. It was a rather small cafe, but it was really well know. For having every kind of coffee in the world., and the food was real good to. From rolls to pastries. He was standing outside, where some people was looking at him. Mumbling under there breathes. He was feeling uneasy. Just talk to the guy and he could go back. Holding the laptop under his arm. Deciding to leave the bag at home. He looks around to see if Ichiku was here or not.

"Look for the freak?" Ichiku thought to himself as he hung up the phone. He didn't have much to say as it seemed as though Arashi was in a rush. With nothing much on him, Ichiku walked over to the Star Dust cafè. He too was given funny looks sometimes. So what if he had a facial scar. Its not like it was completely visible to the whole world but it sure seemed that way. Finding a quiet spot in the cafè Ichiku waited for someone to take his order.

A nice looking young girl of 17 came by. "May I take your order?" she asked in a sweet tone. "Yes please. I'll just have a cup of coffee." Ichiku said firmly. "Alrighty, I'll be right back with that. Just enjoy yourself here." The girl walked away to get Ichiku's coffee. Hopeing not to spend too long here at the cafè, Ichiku slowly began to look around for someone who might of been Arashi.
