I Thought You Wanted to Be A Vampire... (for MsJacobL, zajawa & BlissfulEternity)

Casey listened to everything other male was telling him without saying anything himself. Though when he heard about Thebes thing he blushed up to his ears. Esepcially when his thigh was rubbed. For few moments he lacked the words to say anything back but it didn't last long.
"And you really think you would gain my trust giving me a blowjob? How damn convenient", he muttered, shaking his head. "What would that really change? I probably would like it, since who wouldn't like a handjob, but what more would that give. From what I know it's not the way to gain someone's trust. And I won't trust you just like that. I'm not Quin, you know? Also... if you think I would let you die just because I don't trust you then think again. It's not that easy to kill someone.. or let them die just because. At least not for me."
The last words couldn't say about anyone else than Jonas. Though.. Casey still didn't take other's hand from his thighs.

It was the reaction Jonas was expecting from the lavender-haired teen. For the very short time that the vampire had known him, he knew how temperamental Casey was. To say he was guarded would be an understatement. Though, to be fair, Casey was right in thinking that Jonas was doing this completely out of good grace. As a male, he was a bit pent up since he had no one to release it with. With that said however, he did firmly believe that these methods would work. "I understand you're hesitant. But that's what this entire thing is about, trust. I've put my trust in you and Quin with my secret, and all I ask is that you guys put your trust in me." Jonas said as he continued to rub Casey's thigh.

"Part of trusting me is trusting that I know what I'm doing, which includes the proposal I just made. The reason I'm suggesting I do this with you and not Quin is because I know you're still worried about this entire situation. I want to show you that I will protect you no matter what, and I don't want you to spite me for putting you in this position." He continued. The vampire took a few seconds to let his words sink in. Then, before Casey could come up with a retort or put his guard up, he leaned in and kissed Casey softly. It wasn't aggressive or forceful like one would expect Jonas to be. It was soft, sweet, simple and short. "There, that wasn't that bad, was it?" Jonas asked, his voice in a hush whisper. "Would you like to do that again?" He asked.

"I think you wouldn't put your trust in us if not for Quin.. and your.. lust for him" said Casey simply but the next words surprised him enough to shut him up for few seconds.
Few too many since it was enough for other male's lips to make contact with his. When that happened he blushed quite hard and then glared at the other male.
"What the fuck are you doing?", he growled, quite confused with everything that had happened today.. and now.

Jonas watched as Casey began to blush from the kiss. Though, the question he asked afterwards did make him smile a bit internally. It seemed like Casey's body wanted to go through the proposal, but his mind was still saying no. If there was anything Jonas knew he was good at, it was at making those carnal desires, the will of the flesh, prevail over the mind. "I will admit I'm attracted to Quin." The vampire said, hoping that his honesty would win Casey over. "But that's not the reason I trust him. He is a very kind individual. And I could have kept you in the dark and just told Quin, but I chose to tell you as well, because I do trust you Casey. And I want you to trust me."

Knowing that Casey was on the fence, Jonas figured it was time to turn on the charm. People did say he did have a way with his tongue. Some people even claimed his words were far more threatening than his fangs. "Besides, it's not just Quin I'm attracted to." Jonas revealed, smiling at his friend seductively. "You're very sexy Casey. You're intelligent and witty. A man with a big brain is far more attractive than a man with big muscles to me. You're also very loyal, which is a trait that is hard to come by." Jonas whispered as he moved closer to Casey, closing the gap between them. He placed a hand on Casey's head, running his fingers through his hair. "Though, it does help that you do have a nice body as well." He said with a smirk. He inched closer and closer, waiting to see if Casey would push him away. After a few moments, Jonas leaned in once more and kissed Casey. This time, he was a bit more bold, slipping his tongue into Casey's mouth. After all, he did have a way with his tongue.

It had been a few minutes, and Quin thought that was more than enough time for the vampire to speak with his friend alone. Getting up from his bed and slipping a shirt on, the redhead walked out of his bedroom door, his hand sliding onto the handrail of the stairs, and walking down slowly. Although words stopped him in his tracks.

'Though, it does help that you do have a nice body as well.'
Quin caught Jonas' voice and felt his body tense up. Going down the next few steps, what he saw when he turned the corner was not what he was expecting. A sudden feeling of rage, anger, jealousy, and even sadness tightened in Quin's chest, seeing his best friend, someone he unconsciously loved, being kissed by Jonas. The man he had trusted so willingly.

Balling his hands into fists, Quin reacted on impulse and stormed over. All of the realization that Jonas was a vampire slipped his mind, and the first thing the redhead did was pull the male, as hard as he could, off of Casey and deliver a hard punch across his jaw. Of course, not thinking, Quin injured his hand more than the mortal, although he ignored his aching knuckles as he tried to create a barrier with himself in front of his friend, in an attempt to get him away from Jonas.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing? I thought you wanted to 'talk' you fucking ass!" Quin's voice was full of anger, his eyes ablaze as his hands stayed at his sides, the injured one slack at his hip, unable to move it much although the pain was nothing compared to the rage, and hidden jealousy he undoubtedly felt. "If I see you lay a hand on Shino again, I swear I'll…" Quin clenched his jaw, knowing he couldn't say 'kill you'. How could he ever kill a vampire? Biting his tongue to shut himself up, Quin looked at Casey and felt his heart ache once more, hoping he was okay.

Jonas could hear Quin coming down the steps. It didn't stop him however. He continued to kiss the violette passionately until he could feel the redhead's presence coming closer. Knowing what was going to happen next, Jonas gave Casey's tongue one last caress before he felt himself being thrown off of the spectacled teen. Everything was going as expected...until he felt Quin's fist connect with his jaw. Seeing that Quin was simply human, the blow didn't hurt too much, but it was far more powerful than he expected from a mortal. The hazel-eyed teen placed a hand on his jaw, pretending as if he was hurt by the blow. It was very clear that Quin was upset, the last thing he wanted to do was anger him even further by hurting his ego. After all, the vampire was trying to get these two gorgeous, moody teens to trust him.

Jonas fought every temptation he had not to smile. He was sure both teens didn't want to see his foxy, beguiling little smile of his right now. So, instead, he just looked the redhead in the eyes and listened, waiting for the infuriated teen to finish talking before he would begin defending himself. Although he tried his hardest not to smile, Jonas couldn't help but laugh when Quin threatened him. "You swear you'll what, kill me? Join the club." Jonas remarked, a hint of sarcasm in his tone. He wasn't trying to be too snarky with Quin and Casey, all he wanted to do was to stop Quin and Casey from thinking with their hearts and remind them of the bigger picture. He didn't care about his life. All he wanted to do was protect his people.

But they were teens, and they did think with their emotions. It is why Jonas did propose this solution in the first place. There was no way either of them could refute his idea now. Not with concrete proof. "I did want to talk to him. And we did talk. And then we kissed." Jonas sighed as he stood up and approached Quin, trying to show him he wanted to work this out peacefully. "I was telling him about a band of ancient Greeks called the Band of Thebes. Long story short, they were undefeated in battle because the men they loved the men they fought with. And not just camaraderie. They loved each other. Physically and emotionally."

Jonas peeked over Quin's shoulder to look at Casey, wondering what was going through his mind at this point. "I know I can trust you Quin. And I hope that after this, you can still trust me. The main issue was Casey trusting me. I knew he had a bunch of worries about me and my situation, so I proposed that we get a bit physical with each other in order to build that trust. Now, Jonas couldn't resist smiling. It was time to prove his point. "If you don't believe me, ask yourself, why did you just punch me?" Jonas stayed silent to let the teens contemplate his question. "You love him, Quin. And he loves you. I'm sorry you guys didn't get some romantic epiphany, but the fact is, you love him Quin, and the thought of me harming him made you punch me. Prior to that, I don't think we had any trouble with each other."

Jonas sighed before backing away from the two teens, brushing his bangs away from his right eye. "You guys are a prime example of the concept I was trying to propose to Casey. Unfortunately, I don't have the years I need to put into our relationships to build that kind of trust between us. So, I figured, if we got intimate, it would build trust a lot faster." The vampire began to dart his eyes between the two teens. "Now, I'm going to propose something. If you decline, then I will drop the subject for the rest of the time I know you two. It is very clear you two love each other. Unfortunately, I kinda need to butt into that relationship. So, we'll try this. Casey will kiss me. I will kiss Quin. And then you two lovebirds can kiss. Would you like to try that?" Jonas asked.

Casey was really surprised with another kiss and he didn't push Jonas away. Somehow he was way to stunned to do that. And then it was stopped in a really unexpected way. Quin! His mind went blank for few longer moments, though he still was able to hear what other two said to each other. And that punch.. It made Shino feel all warm inside.. though he didn't believe it harm the vampire in any way. Even if.. he sure could recover from something like that. And then his mind was stunned for the second time. Love? Did he really love the other male? His friend? Someone that was as close to him as brother? But.. was there only that. He blushed at the thought, not really sure what to do. Fuck all the education! Did it prepare them for moments like that. Nope. Then another thing said by Jonas made him wake up from the stated he was in. Kissing? Maybe.. with Quin.. but....
"Why would I ever want to kiss you, you cunning bastard. And don't even try ti deny it. I'm sure you some way or another planned this", he said, his voice being quiet.
Casey wasn't really sure.. but guessing was way better than nothing.

Hearing Jonas laugh made Quin's jaw clench, trying not to tempt himself to punch the idiot again, knowing it wouldn't do anything anyways, he held back. What the vampire was saying next though slightly pissed off the young man, especially when he voiced out so nonchalantly that he had kissed Casey, as if it was no big deal.

Although what was said next brought Quin into a bit of a annoyed state. He heard him speak of what they had discussed, and then brought up love? The redhead scoffed, and even more so at his little idea of kissing one another. Yeah, like Quin would want to kiss Jonas after that. Talk about sloppy seconds.

Glancing quickly at Casey, Quin smirked, loving how feisty his friend was. Butting in, he began to speak as well, his attention mainly on Jonas, although it was directed to both.
"So you're saying, that you want me to kiss you, and allow him to do the same, when we love one another?" Quin laughed, clearly thinking it was crazy. "Why the fuck would I let you kiss Shino if I care about him so fucking much?" The redhead said, quite seriously. He hadn't admitted to loving Casey, but he sure as hell admitted to caring for him, at least more than a friend.

"So much name-calling. It was merely a suggestion. A simple 'no' would have sufficed." Jonas said with that cocky smile of his and his trademark mischievous tone. "All I wanted to do is to build a bit of trust between us, but clearly all this has done is do the opposite. I am a man of my word, so I won't bring up the topic anymore." The vampire placed a fist on his jaw and pushed on it, cracking it one way before cracking it the other way. He didn't blame the teens for getting upset at him. After all, they were in love with each other (whether they wanted to admit or not), and he was butting into their relationship. It was a long shot, but he figured it was worth a try.

But now, he did fear that he had pissed them off too much. These friendly people were his safety right now, and it would be best not to make them angry. Luckily for him, the vampire had already figured out a way to gain favour for both of them. "Well, now that this is all done, I think I'm going to head to bed. You said there were only two bedrooms, right? I can't really do couches, and I don't want to sleep in your parents' bed. That would be kind of rude." Jonas said, smiling playfully at his statement. He did find it impolite to sleep in the bed of the host's parents, but apparently kissing the host's secret crush wasn't beneath him. The vampire had a twisted set of morals, with good intentions, but twisted nonetheless.

"So, here's an idea. I'll sleep in Quin's room. And since neither of you can't seem to stand me right now, I doubt either of you would want to sleep with me, so why don't you two sleep in Quin's parents' room? Also, here's another idea, why don't you two sleep in the same bed? Because contrary to popular opinion, I didn't plan this entire night. I figured if I asked Quin for privacy, he would have given me that." Jonas said as he glared at the redhead. "But he didn't, and punched me in my face because he clearly has feelings for you. So, how about you two all do us a big favour and try and figure out what you guys really mean to each other?" He said, smiling playfully this time. "I would highly recommend a bit of spooning and a bit of kissing, but that's just me. I'll see you all tomorrow. Good night!"

Jonas sped off, racing up the stairs and dashing into Quin's bedroom, slamming the door and locking it behind him. It was best to get out of there before any of them had the chance to ask any questions. Now, the only people they had to talk to were each other, and Jonas was sure he planted more than a few seeds of curiousity for the teens about their feelings for each other. Surely, if Quin and Casey finally did realize how much they loved each other, they would have to thank him for helping them see that? Jonas was banking on that, because if that didn't make both of them like him, he wasn't sure what would after the stunt he pulled tonight.
