Once again he got silent and just observed and listened to everything that happened or was said. Hearing Quin explaining himself he shook his head.
"It's understandable you want to be safe. And those missing people..", he paused and looked at Jonas. "..what they did to deserve to be killed? Because breaking the law.. I don't believe every criminal deserves death. Can you say you never killed innocent person.. or when you were able to control your bloodthirst?"
It was really important for Casey to know that. He didn't want to deal with murderer. Though it was another case with the people like mafia or gangs making people suffer because.. they could and wanted to. Also.. Jonas was born a vampire so.. trying to not to kill innocent ones and trying to fight off his instinct was.. nice of him.
"And drinking blood.. you can't just take a bit? Nothing would stop you or your kin when you start? Also.. wouldn't drinking of blood used to transfusions in hospitals suffice?"

The questions Casey were asking were all valid. He didn't blame either of them for their hostility. After all, how was someone supposed to believe that he was a vampire? The fact that neither of them was trying to kill him right now was already shocking enough to Jonas. Everything he had heard about humans finding out about vampires ended up with the vampires dead. He had always thought that there were humans who would understand their troubles, but his parents and the rest of the vampire community seemed to think it was impossible. Turning his attention to Casey, he extended his fangs out once again. "I can't take a little from an animal or a human. I have to take all of it. If I don't, they'll turn into a vampire." Jonas pressed the tip of his finger against his fangs and held it out. It was very lightly damp at the tip. "My fangs are covered in my saliva. Whenever I bite something, naturally some of my saliva will remain around the wound. If I leave any blood inside whatever my victim is, my saliva would be introduced to their bodies, and the regenerative properties from my genes would kick in and restore the person to full health. The only difference being that they have vampire DNA inside of them." Jonas explained.
"Vampire DNA is extremely reproductive. Once introduced into a body, it would quickly introduce the vampire genetics into the person's DNA, thus turning them into a vampire." He added. "So if I take a little from a victim, they will become vampires, and I can't let that happen. It's been centuries since there's been a vampire born from a bite. They wouldn't know how to control their senses or their blood lust." It was a long explanation to a simple question, but Jonas had to make sure the two teens understood just how dire his situation was. "As for transfusions, there are a couple problems with that. Securing a bag of blood would be extremely difficult. They have cameras covering blood banks and hospitals." He told them, as if he knew from experience. "Secondly, I couldn't bring myself to take one. Innocent people need that blood to survive. Even though I have harmed innocent people in the past, I don't want to do it now. Not when I have control over my decisions." He told them.
Finally, after he thought he had finished explaining himself, he let out a loud sigh. On one hand, it was good to finally reveal his secret to someone. On the other hand, doing that put two innocent people in jeopardy because they know his secret. Whether or not Casey or Quin liked it, he was going to stay true and protect them from whatever harm he put them in. "Thank you Quin, for your hospitality. I will leave as soon as I find a safe place." He said. There was a lot to think about. Where would be a safer place to live? Who was the man following him? How was he going to find out who that man was? It was all a lot more stress than Jonas was used to dealing with. "Can one of you show me to the shower? I need to clear my mind and think some things over." He asked.

Quin's interest peaked when he heard Casey asking such questions. He himself was rather curious to hear what the answers would be, plus knowing so much about Jonas...he wanted to know more. Vampires weren't something he believed in, at least not outside of literature and fantasy.
When Jonas mentioned how the DNA worked, Quin's eyes focused straight on the vampires fangs, seeing how sharp they were, how easy they were to see once he showed them. A shiver ran up Quin's spine as he thought of what was being said. Such a simple bite could do something so...permanent.
The redheaded male then glanced at Casey, realizing that Jonas had good intentions, no matter what he had done in the past. He doesn't like taking innocent lives, but he'd done it before. Surely it wasn't entirely the mans fault, it was in his nature after all...but still, Quin felt himself slightly shaken up over the conversation at hand.
Parting his lips, Quin was about to say something back to Jonas but froze up. Some part of him was unsure how to react. He had to wonder if he was doing the right thing...allowing a vampire to stay in his house for a few days. When Jonas asked about the shower, Quin stood up but then paused to glance at Casey.
"How about get us something quick to eat...I'll come right back down. Promise." Quin whispered, putting a lot of trust into Jonas right now since he was planning on heading upstairs with him alone.
Quirking a slightly vague smile, Quin turned to the stairs and jogged up, his mind swarming with thoughts. "Follow me."

Hearing all his questions being answered one after another he was quite surprised. It seemed like Jonas was way more honest person than he thought. Though that wasn't that hard since he thought of him rather lowly. Now it seemed that he could be wrong about it.
"Fine. I'll do something to eat then", he said simply and went to the kitchen.
Putting on an apron, it was pink and had frills since it belonged to Quin's mother, he started to prepare the food. Deciding it would be good idea to make spaghetti he took out all the igredients out and started to cutting everything that needed to be cut.

Listening to Quin ask Casey to cook something up, Jonas couldn't stop his stomach from rumbling. Even though he was hungry, he didn't expect Casey to cook him anything. The spectacled teen seemed pretty determined to remain permanently angry at him. That's when a thought crossed his head. He just explained to them about the blood lust vampires feel, and the growl from his stomach was pretty loud. "Don't worry. I'm just hungry for normal food. If I'm ever hungry for, well, you-know-what, I'll be sure to stay as far away from here as possible." Jonas reassured them, giving off a friendly smile as he followed Quin up the stairs.
Once on the upper floor, the redheaded teen stopped at the second door on the right. Jonas opened the door, and sure enough, there was a washroom complete with a shower. "Thanks Quin. Not just for this, but for everything." He said, cutting his normal playful, cocky tone and instead trying to sound as sincere as possible. The vampire pulled off his shirt, revealing his pale torso. Even though the black-haired teen seemed slender at first glance, one glance at his exposed chest told a different story. Jonas still retained a lean, slender body, but every muscle was defined. He had once heard it referred to as a "swimmer's build. "Oh. I almost forgot. Do you have a towel? I don't want to wet your floors too much." He asked.

"You can eat normal food?" Quin asked almost instantly. It was a slight shock, although he shouldn't have been. His body was all human, no matter what his race, and nutrition must have been important to his figure somehow. Wondering if Casey would cook him something as well, Quin walked up the steps, showing Jonas the bathroom and moving out of the way so he could go inside.
Before he could step out in time, Quin had his eyes plastered on Jonas' body, watching his shirt slip off his body, and exposing his lean, muscular torso underneath. Quin had to look away, his pants feeling a little constricted after looking for a few seconds longer than he needed to. How was it possible to still enjoy the sight of Jonas when he knew all about him?
Quin nodded his head, returning his gaze to Jonas and smirking very faintly. "No problem...just respect the parameters and you'll be welcomed here."
Walking over to the closet, the redhead pulled out a large white towel, passed it to Jonas and stepped back so the vampire would be left on his own. "I'll be downstairs if you need me, or Casey." Quin said as he grasped the doorknob.

Humming some melody he got entirely into cooking mode. His slim hands working really fast, showing just how much experience Shino had in kitchen. It was his own recipe so it was a bit different from the traditional one but he knew Quin liked it so it was all good.

Jonas found it a bit funny when Quin averted his gaze. It didn't take a scientist to know the redhead was, at the very minimum, physically interested in him. If the sudden look away from his body wasn't enough of a sign, the vampire could smell the teen's arousal. It made the pale teen smirk knowing that Quin might be intrigued by more than his vampirism. "Don't worry. Your house, your rules." Jonas said as he took the towel from his friend. As Quin said his goodbye, he couldn't help but notice he chose to look away once more. Knowing that the redhead was a bit more comfortable around him caused his playfulness to return once again. He enjoyed flirting with him earlier today, and Quin was a stud after all. His thoughts were running wild with all the things he wanted to do to him. It was a good thing the redhead was facing away from him, because he wasn't sure how he would react when he saw the tent starting to appear in Jonas' pants.
Jonas stepped out of his shorts and got into the shower, drawing the curtain. "Oh, and Quin, no need to be so shy. We're both guys. I would have no problem looking at you topless. I hope you have no problem with me showing a bit of skin now and then." The vampire said as he peeked his head out from the curtain, hiding his erection behind the curtain. It felt good to not think about his situation and flirt a bit again. He turned on the shower, making sure the water was cold before he stepped into the stream.
To say he wanted to hook up with Quin would have been an understatement. Physically, the redhead was more than enough to catch his interest. But getting to know him, finding out how generous and kind he was, and especially how open he was to finding out about him only made Jonas more attracted to him. He knew if he flirted with Quin, it would only be a matter of time before something happened, but there was one problem. If Casey ever caught him flirting with Quin, it would spell trouble. The lavender-haired teen was only beginning to put some sort of faith into him, and Jonas didn't want to break it. Yet, being a vampire, he was a creature of lust.
He tried to clear his mind of his lustful thoughts, instead turning his focus to the mysterious man. There was no way of knowing who he was or what he was trying to do until he returned to his house. There had to be some clues there. He knew that he had to return home and scan the place to really assess what kind of a situation he was in.

Before leaving, Quin heard what Jonas said, and his eyes returned to the other male. Seeing him in the shower, with the curtain just barely covering his lower half, it made the redhead's body shudder. Parting his lips, Quin took a while before he nodded his head and spoke rather casually.
"I'll keep that in mind."
Shutting the door, Quin adjusted his cock in his pants and sighed, heading downstairs and back into the kitchen, smirking when he smelled the aroma of that delicious food Casey always cooked. "Smells delicious." Quin said as he turned around and hopped onto the counter beside the stove, sitting down and looking into Casey's eyes, making sure the tent in his pants was hidden rather well.
"Are you really alright will all of this?" Quin had to ask, his voice low just in case the other male could hear.

"I so often cook in here that you really should buy me some less ridiculous apron", said Shino, rolling his eyes with a small smirk on his lips. "Your mum looks good in it, not me. And don't sit your dirty ass where I prepare food."
When he heard his friends question he sighed deeply and then shrugged.
"What can I say.. We stepped in some mess. It's hard to process all those things he told us..", he said and sighed once more.
