When Sangre started to sing he didn't react for few moments but then his arms were squeezed a bit he looked up and then into those maroon eyes. Nodding his head at the question he then looked at Sangre and Harumi only to be back to look at Josh.
"I.. I just thought it... would be nice to sing it..", he said barely audibly.
Then he tried to follow the cook with singing but after only few tones he started to cough. No. His throat didn't appreciate his effort.

Josh smiled at the sight of Harumi’s flushed face as well as Sangre, trying to sing with that voice of his. Looking back down at Akira, Josh kept a hold of him while nodding his head. “I think it was a cute idea.” he muttered back just as softly.
Although as he heard Akira try to sing, and then ended up coughing, Josh brought a hand to his throat and rubbed against it gently as the song began to finish, singing along softly with a smile on his face.
“Happy Birthday to you!!” They ended just as Sangre kissed Harumi’s cheek, hugging her yet again and Josh could easily see her red cheeks pressed up against Sangre’s nearly matching shirt.

“Thanks again you guys.” She looked over at the tables and smiled. “Let’s have some breakfast, then we’ll get to the gifts.” She smiled and hurried over while dragging Sangre along with her.
Josh glanced at Akira and looked down at his stomach. “Are you hungry?” he wondered while walking to the tables and having his own with Akira while Sangre and Harumi had a separate one nearby. The bouquet in the middle of each table made Harumi’s smile grow and she touched the petals while rambling to Sangre about how amazing they were.

"Happy Birthday to you", said Akira, wanting to take a part in singing even if he wasn't able to sing.
He nodded at the question as they sat down.
"Yes. Very. And the breakfast looks really delicious", he whispered and then smiling when he saw Harumi with Sangre. "He had a good idea with the flowers, right Master?"

It was adorable to hear Akira trying his best to say the words to the song, in fact Josh thought it was rather commendable. Once they were both seated, Josh held the fork in his hand and poured some lemonade for himself before looking at Akira and smiling with what he said.
“I’d say it’s a good idea, certainly. If she likes something, it’s a good idea to get something associated with that.” Josh smiled lightly and began to cut the omelet in front of him so he could get a few pieces. “Hopefully you aren’t tired, our day will be rather…busy, with the four of us.” Josh bit into the food and let out a soft sigh. It was delicious, and he knew that Akira helped, so of course he had to say something about that. “This is delicious, thanks for helping make this.” Josh smiled.

Pouring some lemonade for himself as well he shook his head.
"I have done them.. but they aren't so good as Sangre's. I can see that. Though..", he paused as he drank all in one go and then refilling he continued. ".. I'm really happy I didn't destroy anything."
When he started to eat he smiled. Good thing he didn't put more salt. A bit more and it wouldn't be good. Now was just.. right.

Looking at his food, Josh shook his head and had another bite. When he finished chewing, he began to speak again. “It might not look exactly the same, but it tastes amazing.” he complimented while looking at him drinking and being a bit relieved from that.
While he ate a bit more, Josh looked at the cupcake in front of his plate and smiled. It looked delicious, although he only hoped he’d have enough room in his stomach to fit it. “The ice cream came in this morning. Would you want to try them out later on, see what one you like best?” Josh asked while glancing back at Akira.

"It's just eggs", he muttered a bit embarrassed given compliment for doing something so simple.
This time Akira ate really quickly so when Josh asked his question he was already done with omelette and was half way through the fruits. He loved the taste of them mixed in one.
"Really? It would be great to taste them. What kind of flavours are there?", he asked curiously.

Josh nearly chuckled but held back, instead he just smiled. “Yes, but compared to before, you’ve learned a lot Akira.” Josh stated. Noticing just how quickly the other male was eating, Josh was yet again glad to witness that. He never seemed to have a low appetite, and so far he had no reason to worry for his weight like he used to in the past.
When asked of the flavours, Josh leaned in his chair a bit more and hummed in thought. “I got us five to try. Mint chocolate chip, strawberry, cookies and cream, chocolate, and pistachio. I personally love mint chocolate chip, but we all have different tastes.” Josh smiled and ate some of the fruit as well. It was a nice contrast to have something savory as well as sweet. “I wonder what on you’ll like…”

Thinking about it a bit more he needed to agree. Ealier there wasn't anything he would be able to do in the kitchen.. now there was few simple things. Hearing all five flavours he tilted his head sightly.
"All sounds good. I'm curious how do they taste. And.. pistachio?", he asked, not knowing what that meant.

Picking up a piece of strawberry, Josh nibbled on it although kept his eyes on Akira. Finishing off his omelet, he glanced over at Sangre and Harumi, glad to see them talking and laughing together until his maroon eyes focused back onto Akira when he heard his voice.
“They all are good to me. And pistachio is a kind of nut. It’s really nice, creamy flavour.” He stated while breaking a piece of the cupcake off and trying it along with the fruit. The sweetness was probably going to keep him going the rest of the day, so it wasn’t bad to have a bit of each thing despite the sugar.
