As soon as he saw master so stressed out while only talking about miss Elizabeth or the wedding made Akira heart fill with pity for the man. He would like to cheer up Josh but he wasn't sure how and if it would be a good thing to do. But then again that stressed look and clenched jaw.. and master done his best for him.. he should do the same for him. 'It is hard on you, Master.. Is there something I can do to cheer you up? If there is I would do that.. just tell me.. You have done for me so much already..'

Josh began to start pacing back and forth. There were a bunch of things running through his mind, it was difficult to think of a wedding with someone, especially since he knew what he’d have to do afterwards. With a low sigh, Josh looked back at Akira once he saw that he was writing.
Thinking for just a few seconds, Josh walked back to the bed, placing the mans plate with his own and sitting down in front of him.

“I think just getting my mind off of it will help…despite knowing that I’ll have to deal with it…” Josh took a deep breath and rubbed his forehead in frustration.” I just don’t want to think about it.”
Remembering what he had said earlier, Josh looked at Akira’s body and muttered. “I should check your rib…it might hurt for a moment but I have to ensure the healing is aligned and hasn’t shifted.”

He was watching master pacing back and forth. It was making Akira uneasy to see him like that and not be able to help. When master said he didn't want to think about he just nodded. That at least he could understand. Then he nodded once more and laid down on his back so master could take off the brace and see how was his rib. Akira was clearly nervous waiting for it but he just waited obediently.

Akira was quick to listen, Josh seen him lay down almost right when he mentioned it. Smirking softly, Josh looked down at his servant and sat closer to him. “I’ll try my best not to hurt you. But I can’t promise you that you wont feel any pain. You trust me, don’t you?” Josh asked him softly while lifting Akira’s shirt up to expose the brace along his chest.
Josh then carefully removed the brace, being extremely careful with every move he made until it was completely off.

Akira gulped and nodded. If there was anyone he trusted it was definitely master. He was a bit scared but it didn't really badly. Just a bit, making him flinch softly. When Josh took the brace of he could see the bruise on the pale skin of Aoki. Maybe because it was so pale and it was placed just above the scars on his stomach it looked rather bad. Though there was nothing that would show the rib broke.

Watching every reaction that Akira made, Josh stopped to allow him to relax, looking at the wound for a few seconds before touching his skin. “Seems to be doing good…” he whispered before putting his right hand out.
Being as cautious as he could, Josh traced along Akira’s ribs. As he got to the fractured rib Josh barely put any pressure on it, in fact he was barely even touching him in order to reduce any pain he could.
“Good news is, the fracture is perfectly aligned and healing…but the bad news is it may take a little over a week before it heals enough to do labor intensive work. You can still work in the greenery just…try not to bend over a lot or anything that might damage it more.” Josh might have prolonged the healing period, but he didn’t want Akira making his injury worse.
Josh then softly rubbed over the scars just below the bruise, shaking his head from the image in his mind of how he got them and the horrible memory that came along with it. Just as he thought that, Josh curiously looked at Akira’s neck, remembering why he got it, and when he saw the first day Akira was brought in.

Akira flinched a bit feeling masters hand on his rib cage and then tracing along the ribs. He gasped when some pressure was put on it but he could feel Josh was trying to as gentle as he could and was really greatful for it. A week? That wasn't so bad. Doctor said it would be more.. but he trusted master the he knew what he was saying. Maybe sooner as he felt a bit stronger already. Sure he wouldn't be able to do much at first.. but he would of any use at least. He shivered a bit as the warm hand moved on his scars. When he looked at master he was gazing at his neck and thinking about something. He watched Joshs face as he was doing that and couldn't help but got a little curious what he was thinking about. Was it something good? Bad?

Not wanting to fully go against the doctors wishes, Josh knew he’d have to ensure Akira was safe, although he knew making his servant stay in his bed for weeks wouldn’t help him mentally. Moving his gaze from Akira’s neck to his eyes, Josh took a moment just to stay quiet before clearing his throat and looking back down while grabbing the brace.
“Thank you for allowing me to do this.” Josh mumbled while carefully going to his torso but being unable to get it under him. “If you can, may you sit up…just a little so I can get this back on?” Josh asked as he supported Akira’s back just in case he felt uncomfortable.

He nodded softly and sat up. It sure hurt a bit but he managed to sit up without much pain. Waiting for master to put the brace around his rib he looked at the flower on the window. He would really like for it to be right next to his bed but it liked the sun.. and being selfish even if it concerned flower.. it wasn't like Akira.

Right when Akira sat up, Josh made sure to apply the brace back on him, not too loose, not too tight. When he finished, he looked in the direction of where Akira was looking and smiled faintly. “I’m always so curious as to what’s in that intelligent mind of yours Akira.”
Getting up from the bed, Josh touched the soil in the flowerpot and furrowed his eyebrows. “It might need some more water…would you like to water it?” Josh asked while going into the bathroom and grabbing a cup of water. As Josh returned, he looked questionably at Akira while walking towards the plant.
