Akira nodded his head obediently. Was there any possibility he wouldn't? Josh found him dying, then made it possible for him to speak again, showed him so many things. Let him learn so many. With everything that had happened and was about to it was easy to sum it up - Josh gave Akira new life. And hope. How could he even consider to not to trust the other male?
"Would it be alright to carry back the books I took from the library? There is a lot and I already read them all", he said, wondering if it was fine to ask Josh to help him.

A weight lifted off Josh's shoulders when Akira understood what he said and trusted him.
The question he had been asked was answered instantly. "Of course." Josh spoke while pressing his lips to Akira's forehead. "As long as we sign the books out at the desk, there is no problem with bringing them back for you to read." Josh smiled yet again, keeping his arms around Akira's body. "And I'm always here to help, my arms need a bit of a workout anyway." Josh chuckled lightly.

Akira chuckled a bit as well when Josh told him about workout.
"Yes.. but I thought that mister Carver wouldn't be happy if we went there without giving back all those books. After all books can get destroyed.. or something..", he said, not sure if he was right or not since he didn't know the librarian.

Josh cherished the sound of Akira's gentle laughter before hearing hi speak and cocking an eyebrow, humming beneath his breath at his comment.
"He's a little bit…touchy when it comes to the books, although if I trust you with them then he should. As long as you don't take the entire library to your room, he should be fine." Josh smiled and then shrugged his shoulder. "Plus not many people visit the library and take books out as much anymore. So he'll probably appreciate someone else who appreciates literature. I'm sure you two have things in common, he just doesn't see it yet." Josh smiled, knowing all too well Carver loved books too. Maybe they could learn from one another someday.

"Uhm... they are in perfect condition... I am very careful with books.. really..", he said, a bit intimidated.
Then he fell silent when he heard they had things in common. Josh meant probably books, right? Because what else could it be? Such person as the librarian sure knew much, much more than someone like him. There was nothing else to came in his mind when he was thinking about it.

"Exactly. You take care of them, you'll be fine." Josh reassured, running his hand from Akira's neck towards his hair, gently touching the soft strands before he took a breath and thought to himself, his eyes focused on the other side of the room until he finally brought his attention back to Akira.
"Some people seem intimidating at first glance. But the more you get to know them, you see their true colours. Carver is nice, he's just a little intimidating at first since he's rather serious most of the time." Josh smiled and then whispered, as if he was telling a secret.
"In fact, I remember when I we were just a bit younger, Carver cried once he finished one of his favourite books. I believe it to be called 'Heart Is a Lonely Hunter'. He can get quite amerced in the stories he reads. He also enjoys poetry." Josh said with a light chuckle.

Akira wasn't sure if being serious was intimidating or not. There was just something else in the man called Night Carver, a librarian with jet black hair and brown eyes outlined with thin glasses. But on the other hand... Akira knew he wasn't good with people.
"He... cried?", asked the young male, tilting his head a bit and looking at Josh, clearly surprised.

Josh nodded his head and raised his eyebrow slightly. "Yep, pretty badly too. I had to console him and reassure it was just a book, but he said how amazing it was." Josh shook his head and smiled. "He's a softy, but he hides it."
Twirling his finger along Akira's neck, Josh then gently took his boyfriends hair and began to braid it, watching his hands as he did. "I'm sure he has a few books that he'd recommend. He always wants me to read some but I never found the time." Josh admitted beneath his breath. "I bet he'd love to discuss books with you, he's never had anyone who shared the same interest as him. It probably gets a bit lonely to be honest" Josh thought aloud, wishing he himself was more into books for that reason.

Instead of asking Josh Akira took out his cellphone and checked out a word softy. It wasn't like he couldn't ask his boyfriend about it but practice makes master, right? When his neck was touched like that it made him shudder since it was really sensitive place.
"But.. he wouldn't probably want to discuss them with someone like me?", he asked quietly as his hair were taken care of by Josh. "I.. I mean.. you are the prince.. and his friend.."

Josh's eyes rested on Akira's hair as he began to touch it, hearing his boyfriend and tilting his head to the side in thought. "Not at first no. He wouldn't talk to you right away, but if you worked at he library he'll eventually open up a little more. That's how he is, he's a huge introvert." Josh said with a knowing smile, finishing the braid and admiring how it looked on Akira.
Sighing, Josh shook his head and gently kissed his lovers forehead. "You are stunning." He mumbled against his skin, letting the braid lay over Akira's shoulder.
