John moved his body as he leaned to whisper something in Rachel's ear. This also got him away with the foot that was rubbing his calf as it annoyed him, but it wasn't like he was going to announce that with people around.

However whatever he whispered had her jump from her chair and shout, "NO WAY!"

"Do you really have to shout like that?" He said as his glasses went askew and he had to adjust them.

"You mean you will get me in?! Me?!"

"...Maybe I should take it back..."

"NO! I can calm down! I will when I get there!"

John stifled a chuckle at Rachel's response and then pointed at his empty glass that should have been filled with mimosa.

"Ass," she huffed and took his glass. "See you tonight then and we can all hang out like old times?"

"Yes," John replied as she took his glass and walked away, but quickly came back. "What would you two like to order by the way?"

"I would like your crab eggs benedict with crispy hashbrowns and asparagus," John replied. "Oh and a glass of fresh orange juice as well when the meal comes."

John continued to ignore Allistar as he smiled at Rachel as she beamed at him. "Okay boys, will be back with more drinks shortly."

When she left, John's eyes slowly looked over to Allistar's face as he scowled. "What's with that stupid smile?"

Allistar replied softly before reaching across the table to run his fingers along one of John's hand. "It's evident...by your eyes, by your skin...and yet, there's this attractiveness that lingers, something I can't seem to ignore."

Why the hell didn't I just tell him to buzz off? Oh well, punishment for agreeing to someone.

Moments later Rachel returns with a tray of food as she began to place their orders in front of them before sitting down with what appears to be her own food. "Taking my 'lunch break' right now since I have been here since 6."

"Heh it's really not that bad. Though our weekend brunches can be such a pain though!" Says Rachel as she takes a bite out of her steak and eggs. "I have a dual job so I do prep and part of the wait staff so it's not too bad. Just means I start at 5AM though. Oh and I have been here for almost a year too."

"I am surprised that you haven't gotten fired yet with you being forced to wake up so early," smiled John as he joked before taking a sip of his orange juice.

"Hey I will have you know that I have amazing work ethic! I just need the proper motivation," she replied as she pointed her fork in John's direction.

"Food?"

"Damn straight!"

Allistar chuckled softly as he took a sip of his wine. "Well, everyone has to have some sort of motivation or things would never get done, right? At least your motivation has something to do with your own survival." he said playfully before taking a bite of his breakfast.
