Zidane blinked the entire time, having no clue what Hope was talking about as he explained his world to him. It sounded interesting sure but he still had no clue what everything he was talking about was. When he was done explaining everything and asked his question Zidane nodded. "Yep. Welcome to Gaia. Its a nice place. Well except for a few thugs and your occasional thief or two but overall its really nice. I guess you saw I was one of those thief's then huh?" He asked, his tail swaying side to side as he looked at Hope's wounds. "Those don't look good Hope. You should let me check them after. I'm pretty handy with first aid I've been told."

Hope finished explaining about his planet but noticed that he lost the thief in his story. Maybe If he finds a way to get back, he can take Zidane with him but will he even think about leaving his his own world? He shaking his head and blinks after Zidane told him about this Gaia. "This place is so normal looking. I guess that's what happen when you been living under advance technology. Your different than those apes thugs I ran into. It kinda explain the tail you have." looking be hide him staring at it again then back at his cuts. "Okay then. You helped me back there so I'm all yours." he chuckles softy looking down in disappointment.

"Oh you mean this? I was born with this so I'm rather used to it by now. Besides this makes pick pocketing much more easier for me. Those thugs didn't even notice I stole from them until the last second. It pays to be like me at times." Zidane said, smiling as he used his tail to scratch an itch on the back of his head. "So your home sounds kinda complicated. How does one live with all those things around you?" He asked in a curious tone, thinking it was bad to be living like that. Where he lived they had nothing much to fear except maybe pissing the queen off.

When Zidane asked him was it difficult to go through. "Well it is true - you see the PSICOM and Sanctum were the cause of problems but even worse than that is becoming a I 'Cie. They're human beings that been 'branded' giving them magical power and great strength, sadly they're known as a danger and a threat to the people in cocoon." he said looking at his left wrist where his 'brand' used to be and continues on "I know what your thinking that you don't understand but yeah. It was a paradise until hell happen and one more thing. I became an I 'Cie along with my other friends too." sighing lightly.
In the Meanwhile, the waiter comes back with their food in a cart along with two glass of sodas.

Hope sniffing his food grinning greedy, it's been awhile since he had a decent meal picking up the chicken taking a big bit "Mhm, that's soda. Don't count it until you tried it. Just take your time and take a little slip of it." he said slipping his own drink. "Well, my friends didn't get along with each other either did I but we've work together and travel too. I should say that they're strong and determined.. I wanted to get stronger after my mother's death so I went with them." he said taking another bit hungrily.

Zidane took a small sip, smiling a bit. "Not bad. I still like my beer and ale though. So you and your friends used to be at each others throats eh? Reminds me of me and good old Rusty. That guy was against everything I did.I never cared though. I did it anyways. By the way sorry to hear about you mom." He said, starting to eat his food. He ate big bite, which wasn't surprising seeing as how he was walking for hours in the forest. "But yeah its normal for things like that to happen. You aim to get stronger so you can fight for the ones you love or in your case avenge them and such." Zidane said with a sigh.

"Rusty just jumped up and down and went on about the princess. I just ignored him was all. Your friends sound nice though. I'd like to meet them at some point. This Lightning person sounds like a real handful. Does she use daggers like me?" Zidane asked, having a key fascination for daggers and such. "What do you use Hope?" He added in a curious tone. "Oh and the inn is very close to here. Like only a few blocks. Its not too far. Its also pretty cheap too. Like 20 gil a night too." Zidane explained with a smile. "Stayed there plenty of times before. Always in my travels too." He added. "Are you done eating or not yet?"
