A Twist of Fate

Welcome to the Year 2067.

After the end of the nuclear age, man found himself discovering a new and strange effect of the radiation of the nuclear wars that had desolated the planet. Many millions of people dead, and many more dying. Technology had been destroyed by the nuclear blasts, setting humanity back hundreds of years. Society would have to rebuild, and come again as many of the world greatest thinkers and engineers had died in the attacks.

Welcome to the Year 2080

The first child after the wars was born. However, the effects of the radiation were still being discovered. He was born similar to his parents in many ways, except the radiation had jumped started evolution, causing his physical appearence to change. He had regrown a tail, similar to that of a fox, and his ears were higher on his head, and resembled a fox. His canine teeth had grown larger, and his nails were retractable.

Welcome to the Year 2150

The Human race had now seperated into two races. The humans, and the Nekos. Peaceful cooperation, if it was, lasted for a very short time, as soon they began to fight. Humanity had sheer numbers, and soon overtook the Neko's forcing them into slavery, using them for sheer strength to mine materials, to build factories to shape and change the damaged landscape.

Welcome to the Year 2800

The Neko race was growing very small, with only several thousand remaining, in contrast the human population had regrown nicely with their being several billion. The manual jobs that the Neko's once had, had been replaced with far more efficient machines and robots, and they were now used primarily as personal slaves for show, housekeeping, and occasionally sexual use.

Here we have a young Neko by the name of James. He had been raised in a captured environment, seperated from his mother at a young age, and put with other Neko's for training. He had been taught his place and manners and grown to be appealing. He was now 16, and the monthly auction was about to begin. He had witnessed his brothers and sisters being sold to several large and cruel looking masters, and he was scared what would happen to him. He was wearing only a collar, with his name on it, as he was pushed up the steps to the center of the stage, where the auctioner had him bend over, reveal his private and most personal of parts to the roaring crowd. "Shall we start the bidding at 1,000,000?" The auctioner shouted.

Alec watched he had bid on a few but none did he really try at. But this boy, James he seemed interesting and so he bid on him with false disinterest "1,000,000" He called boredly. He wore a very expensive tux and seemed very well off even though he frequented here he hardly actually bought a neko. He was born a duke in the Human side and so he was very high in standing and value.

James heard the big, and saw the one who did, studying him. He looked better then any of the other owners here, and hoped no one would bid against him. But, of course he then heard, "1,500,000." He gulped when he saw who that was. It was a very fat, mean looking man, who had actually already bought three slaves already. He then looked at the first bidder, giving him a desperate look of partial hope that he would be willing to bid again. He really didn't want to go with the mean man. He had heard rumors about men who bought multiple slaves that planned to use them for breeding and selling the young on the black market. He shivered at the thought, and looked at the first again.

Alec raised a brow "2,500,000" He challenged and looked at the neko. Smirking he nodded to him as if to say he'll be his by the end. Leaning back he watched the slave.

The abusive looking man, growled and raised his hand one last time, determined to out-bid his rival. He shouted, "5,000,000," causing several members of the crowd to gasp. No other slave had even sold for over 3,000,000. The fat man smirked at Alec, giving him a narcissistic grin.

James gulped, looking down frowning. "This was the end" he thought to himself. "No way the kind-looking man would outbid for him now." He began to mentally prepare himself for a terrible future of forced breeding, tight cages, and terrible food and water.

Alec snorted "6,000,000" He said firmly, smirking at the fat guy. Knowing he would be sweating at the raise.

James heard the voice, and looked up hopefully, eyeing the abusive man, silently praying he didn't make a counter. The crowd gasped at Alex's offer, whispering amongst themselves words of suprise. The Auctioner himself was thrown a little off guard, before saying, "Are there any counter offers?"

The large man scowled as he had been beaten, refusing to outbid such a large amount.

"And sold, to number 54." The man shouted, as James was hurried off the stage, put with the other bought slaves, having a number put over his neck. "And that concludes our auction. If you have bought something, please have payment ready, and you can come get your winnings."

Alec walked into the back, handing of a fresh check he went to his new neko slave and looked him up and down. "You were very pricey" He stated as he glanced at the slaves face. "Lets go, I want to get home before the storm hits" It was suppose to storm that night and Alec hated driving in the rain.

"I'm sorry," He said, looking in his master's eyes, trying to decide what kind of person he was. Sensing nothing bad about him, he obeyed him, following him closely, curious what kind of vehicle he had and how it would be to drive home with him. He honestly wanted to give him a hug, out of thanks for not letting that mean man buy him, but was scared he might be rushing it.

Alec nodded and moved to a small jet black racer like sports car. Siting in the drivers he spoke "You will sit in the passenger side." He ordered and began to start the car. once started he shut his door and waited for the neko to listen to his order.
