Fear ran through him like any other emotion would. His oddly long dark hair was tangled slightly face flushed as he held himself tight against the small corner of the darkened room. His mother and father had told him to run..To hide, they'd never thought that the war would come to this, the others army invading there home and forcing a new rule over the land. Why was it that everything that he saw so dear, was now being taken away from him? His people who were so kind and great to him and his parents, forced to bow now to the new army as the swarmed into the palace. Aijou wasn't sure who'd be taken over, but he was sure he'd find out at some point....when he was found at least. What they would do to him, was still unclear..but he prayed he wouldn't be killed like his parents. Even if that was the honestly good way for a prince to go...His people still needed him..and maybe, if whoever took over was kind enough, they'd allow him to stay...sure he wouldn't expect to be the prince anymore..but a servant would be better then nothing, he'd at least still have a chance to take over again...At least that was how he hoped it would turn out.

It was then that a man entered the room. He was gorgeous, with long blonde hair, and soft features. He was very kind looking. He wasn't TOO big, but he was taller than the boy. He noticed Aijou, and walked over. He knelt next to the boy, trying to be unthreatening.

Aijou froze when the other male came into the room, his gaze on him as he watched the beauty ( really manly beauty ) move over to him. Kneeling before speaking in a soft toned manor. "I...Why'd you kill them?" he asked as tears worked over his eyes, he couldn't hold them..His mother...father, both killed...His people....knights. Why did this all have to happen? Hadn't everything been peaceful before this war broke out?

Aijou sniffed slightly as he looked at the male. "Then why let me live, when not them?" he asked. He didn't really understand this guy, sure he was old enough to take the thorn now...but he'd never been in a war, nor had his father thought he would ever be in one till now.

Aijou rubbed his eyes for a moment before giving a weak nod. He might loose some respect by his people, but he'd secretly be working behind these people backs to get his throne back, he couldn't do that in jail or dead...or banished, so working in the place might be the only way...though.."I haven't a clue how to clean though." he said.
