something i ponder
i seek oppinions on this matter. can any one tell me that if given a difficult choice that could very well save multiple lives would you have the courage to under go the stress and pain involved with this choice if it meant you would get to see other people live in a world free of corruption and without sorrow?

it would appear that no one can offer up an opinion on this matter. understandable, it is very hard to come up with an answer for this that is why i seek a response, because even i don't know if i could follow through with such a task.

this is a porn site and your statement (its hardly a question) is depressing and not sexy
I mean it - your question is borderline emo, especially the way you've phrased it
I also ponder some things,
I ponder how people can ignore the cost/benefit anomoly that exists with the commercial concept that in-built profit margins of procurement contracts that garantee specific percentage returns fails to replicate the idealised incentive of the free market that comes with reduced risk?
or
I ponder why I'm accused of being a communist when I attack bankers bonuses or the massive 40-60% wage rises executives recieve every year when its clearly a capitalist principle that wage bills should not have such large and unsustainable rises which are unproportional to the performance of the company - as the value of the company has not risen, the share-price has fallen and indeed the people who OWN the company, the shareholders, are seeing dividends fall (definately not rising 60%!)?
Obviously if company executives are engaged something that is anti-growth and destroying the company despite opposition from the shareholders who OWN the company then they are the ones who are being anti-capitalist, not the people complaining.
I ponder these...
but I don't expect an actual answer.

hmm, yes i thank you for your wisdom Rob, well, it's not that i don't seek a definite answer, but it just helps in some cases to hear an oppinion of some sorts. that way i can find out the rest on my own. you see i'm an observer and i merely wish to know what drives a person to do what is that they do. and self-sacrifice is one of those matters i hope to understand better someday.

Hey, I think this is a great question. I ponder things too.
Now this thing you speak of...I would do it, because for me, people, especially friends that mean the most, are the best things in this world. If I could do something to help them greatly, I would no matter the cost. I'm not sure why, but I often get myself into mild versions of these things anyway. I set out to do something, it's painful and stressful and hard, and sometimes I even have a bit of regret in the process. In the end I'm glad I did it, and didn't give up. I know how much a result can be amazing, so I strive to achive such things.

This is the kind of question one would ask to a certain trustworthy person in private instead of broadcasted in a public place.
Now face it, we live by taking decisions. Each decision leads to its own results, and through their own risks and obstacles as well. Nothing is safe. Any option that you take, you will always have the risk of failing.
So it's not about whether you have the courage to take it or not, it's whether you WANT to take it or not. Once you take it, the rest will go by the flow of fate.
To be honest, I kinda like these kinds of questions.
