The Haunted Hotel, and the Devilish Romance
James Jones, bit his lip, a little nervous as he climbed out of his lovers car on bright Friday afternoon. He was 21 years old, had wonderfully soft blond hair, and bright green eyes. He was wearing a green shirt, the exact shade of his eyes, that had a logo for some band that was no longer in existence. He wore a pair of grey cargo pants, and matching black tennis shoes. He looked up at the large building they had just parked at, noticing it looked like a old mansion more then a big hotel. It had what seemed like three, maybe four stories, and at first glance appeared to be run down. But in reality, it was the famous Haunted Hotel of Calprisca.
His lover knew that James was easy to scare, and just loved to pick on him for it, mostly because James knew it gave him a smug satisfaction to be able to hold him in his arms and comfort him. It was embarrassing for James, but it made his lover happy. He sighed, he didn't know he had been talked into doing this. The hotel they were arriving in was a famous interactive hotel. You payed for the night, but you didn't expect to sleep. You see, as soon as it gets dark out, people dressed up as monsters wandered the halls, and tried to scare you. He had read online that sometimes they even get in your rooms, and scare you in your beds. He shook his head, and sent his lover a nervous, but willing look, walking over to him and taking his hand, as they walked towards the building.

Once James got into the car, the man in the drivers seat flashed a sparkling white grin and twisted the keys, the sound of the engine coming to life while he leaned over, clasping his lovers seatbelt and chuckling. "You'll be fine, promise."
Kyle Edgington eyes glimmered in a mischievous manner, knowing all too well how his boyfriend felt about this trip. A haunted hotel for a few nights, who wouldn't want to do that?
Kyle's deep blue eyes clashed with his stark, short black hair, below that was matching stubble elongating along his jawline and eventuating the contours of his face. His clothes were rather fancy, but not over the top. He had on dress pants, with a simple dress shirt and without the jacket, not wanting to be over the top in such a casual place such as this.
Slowing down once they made it, Kyle turned off the car and stepped out, looking over at the hotel and smiling in anticipation. Looking at James, the older male took his hand, leaning down to his ear and whispering to him while they walked to the building. "Someone looks scared." he teased playfully.

He blushed at his teasing, but took his hand happily. "Am not," He said playfully, as they walked in. He looked around the entrance and was amazed at the decorations they had. In the lobby, instead of normal chairs, they had large skeleton hands, sticking up to be sat on. A little cheesy, yes, but also kinda cute and freaky at the same time. He looked at the walls, seeing dark ribbons covering the sides and the halls. "Definitely creepy," He thought, eying some rather large cobwebs in the corners. He never liked spiders, not one bit. They walked to the front desk, seeing a smiling woman sitting at the desk. "At least she looks normal," He thought.

Another chuckle rumbled through Kyle's chest when he heard James reply. Typical for him to deny his fear of the place, but he knew over time he'd be nearly pissing his pants from being so scared. Looking around the room, it was nice, welcoming at least to a certain degree.
The cobwebs, fake skeletons, and the way it all came together was not only cheesy and cute, but it would probably look a bit scarier once the lights were off and it was nighttime.
Heading to the front desk, Kyle leaned over the counter, his hand never leaving James even as he did. "Hey. Booked room for two." He said in his usual laid back voice, the sound resonating through his throat to create a slight 'edge' to his voice, something that was purely natural and unintentional.
"Let me go get your key." The woman smiled as she turned around.
"Not too bad right?" Kyle whispered to James while glancing down into his green eyes.

"Not at all," He said smiling up at Kyle's deep dark blue eyes. He then said, "Almost cute even. I don't mind this kind of scary. Just wish those spider webs didn't look so real," He said glancing up at them again.
A second lady, this one in a business suit came over to the two boys, holding two legal looking papers, "Before we allow you in and into your room for the next four days and three nights, we need you to sign these release papers." She placed them in front of each of them. It was your pretty basic release papers, promising not to sue if the trama of the place gives you nightmares, you suffer any medical incidents from being scared or chased, the basics.
James quickly scribbled his signature at the bottom, a little nervous as he read through it, becoming wide-eyed at some of the things that they were allowing them to do to them.

"Good." Kyle said instantly, moving his hand that was holding onto James', and wrapping it around his lovers waist. When the other woman showed up, Kyle cocked an eyebrow, taking a pen and reading it over before signing. A few of the things made him weary, but it barely fazed him. The only real thing that was unsettling was how James might respond to some of these. Poor guy had no idea what was coming to him.
Signing with his own signature, Kyle turned the paper around, setting the pen on top and smirking as the other woman walked over with their key. "Thanks. We'll come back if we have any further questions." Kyle said casually, although his voice still held a sort of professional side to it as well.

James smiled at having Kyle wrap his arm around, leaning his head against his shoulder. He did notice how the key they were handed wasn't a modern key card. No, it was an old timey metal key, with a skeleton carved into the handle. He shivered seeing it, "creepy" he thought. He then turned his attention to the lady who handed them a leaflet that had the services and special events the hotel had, and had their room number on it.
It showed that they their room was on the second floor, and would have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to their room, and that elevators were only for those who needed it. It also showed them what their specials were this evening in the attached restaurant and informed them that they would would be sharing a long table with the other guests. After dinner, there was an optional ghost story play in the ball room. Smiling at the creepy sounding events, he tucked the panflet in his pocket before saying, "So, shall we go to our room," He asked Kyle wiggling free of his hold to ring for a bellhop to help move their bags upstairs.

Kyle looked at what James was eyeing and noticed the pamphlet. He tried sneaking a peak but didn't do very well, wondering what kind of events were going on...hopefully his lover would let him know before they happened. Looking into the other males green eyes, Kyle smirked when he heard him ask that, instantly nodding his head, showing his enthusiasm.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Kyle answered, waiting for the bellhop and placing his bags in a neat row to ensure it wouldn't take as long. "I wonder what kind of room I chose." Kyle teased, knowing all too well what theme he picked, and being excited to show James what it was.

James just smiled at him and helped the bellhop put the bags on the luggage cart and take them to the elevator. He wondered why they got to use it, but he and Kyle didn't. He figured it must be because the carts couldn't go up stairs. "Do you want to see the scedule," He asked Kyle handing it to him. Then, he took Kyle's other hand, walking towards the stairs. "What do you mean, what kind of room," He asked, looking at him a little confused, noticing the stairs seemed to squeek as they walked up them. The dark ribbons and cobwebs seemed to continue up the walls as the they reached the top. He noticed that the hallway their room was on seemed to be rather long, and had suits of armor, creepy paintings, and just a weird sorta vibration running through them.

Kyle nodded, saying a soft, "Sure.", and taking the schedule while reading it over. Seeing the scary story, he smiled and wondered if James would want to do that with him, although his focus was temporarily back on his boyfriend when he asked him that. "You know...the theme to our room, I got to pick it out beforehand when I was booking it. They have some weird ones here..." Kyle trailed off, looking at the stairs and not thinking it was too bad...until they got to the hallway.
"We should decorate our places like this someday." Kyle whispered to James, admiring the paintings and armour, admiring the knights and touching it softly, trying not to break anything.
"Let's see if we can find our room." Kyle mumbled, looking back around and looking for the room that matched the key.
