Welcome to Graybell Academy
A young modern ford 1954 shot down the country side, heading towards a damp murky marshy area in the middle of Europe. Sitting in the front of the car was an older man, with slightly gray hair. In the back were three boys, one older and resembling the father, the other two near identical. They were twins, and about to attend the esteemed college prep program known as Graybell Academy. They soon arrived at the school, being greeted warmly by the Dean, before the father said goodbye, leaving his boys with their bags of clothes. The older brother walked away, having spotted his friends, this being his third and final year at the academy. The twins however, were completely new.
The dean lead them to a grumpy old man, who in turn led the boys to their large dormitory. Ten bunk beds were in the room, five on each side. Beside each set of beds were two small dressers, set on top of each other. It was late and a lot of boys had already gone to dinner, but young Thomas was in the room, unpacking his things. He wore raggedy clothes, and seemed to be nervous, and a little scared.
"Unpack your things, and meet in the dinning hall for dinner," said the nasely voice of the old man, before walking away, leaving the two boys to get situated and to meet the other boy.

Lukas had been looking around every which way since they got to the dormitory. It was really boring, and plain, but it wasn't home. That was a vast improvement to him. He'd wanted to get away from the house for so long now. He barely listened to what was going on around him, just thinking about all the freedom he'd have now. At the abrupt dismissal, he took his things, not paying any mind to his twin. He knew his brother would be fine. He walked up to the other boy. "Hey, this other bed taken?" he inquired politely, like momma had raised him to.

The boy turned to him, and blushed a little. "No, go ahead." He was in the bunk next to Lukas, so that if they tried they could turn and look at each other at night. The boy then turned red and said, "My names Thomas, whats yours?"
"His name's Lukas," James said with a laugh, tossing his bag on the top bunk above Lukas's. "Have you seen any other boys around, or have they all gone to dinner?"

"His name is James," Lukas followed up. He wasn't sure when they'd picked up the habit of introducing each other. Lukas put his bag on the lower bunk. He tended to be a restless sleeper, so a lower bunk that was closer to the ground was a better idea for him.

He hopped down and began to unpack his clothes, smiling.
"They, they went to dinner," Thomas confessed, putting away his clothes, which seemed to be filled with holes, obviously well worn. "I think your the last people in."
"Thats good," James said with a smile, finishing his unpacking. "I'm gonna get some grub, see you two later." And with that, he ran out the door, leaving the two boys alone.

Lukas went about unpacking his clothes first. "So Thomas, what do you like to do for fun?" The other boy had kind of caught his eye. Well, he was certainly easy on the eyes. Lukas was just looking for some company besides his brothers. Yeah, that's it.

Thomas was very skinny, his ribs visible against his chest. He was also a little dirty, his hair rather long. His hair was black, and messy, as if it hadn't been combed in a while. He then paused and said, "I quess I would have to say, reading. When I can anyway." He was hiding something.
(By the way, the academy is very expensive, so the twins and there family are rather well off, financially.)

Lukas wasn't used to seeing someone so thin. Did they not feed you here? And yeah, the other was kinda messy, obviously poor, but other than James, he was the only person he'd seen so far in his class. "When you can? What's that supposed to mean?" he asked with a smile, pressing for more information. He could tell the other wasn't being truthful.

(Its the first day of the semester. They're all new)
Thomas sighed and looked down, before saying, "I can trust you right? Well, truthfully I don't belong here. I know I just got here, but I can already tell I don't belong. I'm not rich, my parents were poor before they died, and I lived in an orphanage my whole life. The only reason I'm here is that some man came by, looking for a heir, and adopted me, and took me straight here. He then left. I only know the guys name," He said with a frown.

(Yeah, Lukas doesn't always think things through...)
Lukas looked curious at that. That was... tragic. And weird. "That... is horrible," he said, nodding in a little sympathy. "But," he brightened, "things are turning for the better, right? You've got a place to be taken care of and educated."
