A young man stood in front of a family restaurant, beside the door. It was a causal place that his friends tell him to wait for someone. It been a long time since he had been on a date, let alone a blind one. While the world was more open towards the gay community then they were in the past, it's just hard to find a good man. In all honesty, he wanted to give up the dating scene and just focus on his work as a child book writer and artist, but his friends got concern when he only focus on work and promise him they will find someone and did.

Tobi was a little small for his age and not to mention he had a baby face, so a lot of people thought he was younger then he really was. Then again people would think 20 is still young, but looked like he was 16 years old. He did not really have any muscle on him, the only fat he had really was in his butt. Which was sculpted nicely in the jeans he was wearing. He also wore a baby blue polo shirt and had some clips to the side of his head to keep his deep cherry brown hair out of his face for it was shoulder length. His blue eyes wonder around as he waits for the date. He was told to hold a rose and to look for another person holding a rose.

As he looks around he spots a man holding a rose and he blushes. To him men like him are like aged wine. They are mature and hard to come by. Though he wonders if he was his blind date? Holding a rose was so common. Not to mention he wondered how his friends would snag a guy like him. His heart was beating fast and gulped loudly. He walks over to him and clears his throat. "Um, excuse me?" he spoke softly, but loud enough for him to hear. "I-I think I am your blind date." he tells him, showing the rose he was holding.

His face turned cheery red when he called him beautiful. He has not been called that before and softly chuckles. "Um, tha-thank you." he tells him. "But uh, yes, I am Tobi. It's nice to meet you." he said politely and smiles. Sticking out his hand to shake with. "You know, you are a very handsome man, yourself." he tells him in a bashful tone.

The man smiled, and shook his hand firmly. "Thank you. My name is Thomas. But... Tom is fine." he chuckled, and offered him a hand to take, like a proper gentleman escorting his date.

He wrapped his small soft smooth hand around his big one and blushes more. He could not believe he was on a take with a guy like him. "It's nice to meet you, Tom." he said in a friendly tone. Then he takes him inside the restaurant like a proper gentlemen. The hostess seated them to a booth by a window looking towards the streets and hands them their menu, asking if they would anything to drink. He looks at the menu and shyly asked for a glass of strawberry lemonade.

Once they place their order for drink the waitress tells them that she will give them a moment to look over the menu and leaves. He sets his menu down because he was more interested in the man before him. "Well, um. I-I want to thank you for coming and meeting me today. I honestly thought no one blind dates anymore." he said and softly chuckles. "So, um, if I may ask. What is it that you do for a living and how do my friends know of you?" he asked in a curious tone. "Of course you don't have to tell me if you don't want to." he said. "Feel free to ask me anything."
