The conversation would've went on, however, the teacher grab the students attention breaking the small chat and focus to the task. Leilani, being lazy ends up sleeping half away session when he lost any interest halfway while Nova silently took down important notes. The idea of a sleepover went through their minds. They used to do it at the young age, every weekends but growing up it kept them at distance.
As the bell rang, the two gathered their bags and follows Kai to the doorway, leaving the classroom together. "Finally.." Leilani sleepily replied, rubbing his eyes. Can't wait to start the weekends, together like old times.
Kai walked out of the classroom with his best friends beside him and headed outside. They began walking towards their neighbourhood, which was only a few minutes away. The boys walked down the sidewalk as Kai smiled, remembering all the times they used to do this when they were in elementary school. "So, what did you guys want to do first when we got there?" Making sure nothing was left behind, the trio walks through the hallways, leaving the school grounds and heads for the neighborhood, only a few minutes away. Not too far. Nova looks over to Kai seeing how excited he was for this sleepover and chuckles to the thought from their childhood. "We should play games..I need to beat this level I've been stuck on for 3 months." The raven haired said, sighing lightly as he starts thinking of ways to beat it. Leilani looks over to Kai, rolling his eyes to his comment. "I'll cook a meal that'll keep you full for a week! Just you wait."
Kai listened to his friends talk as they continued walking. "Leilani, don't cook. This is the first time we've hung out for an entire weekend in such a long time. We shouldn't have to do anything. We'll just order something." Kai told them as they continued walking. Within moments, they turned into their neighbourhood. Leilani's house was right on the corner, which was why it was bigger than everyone else's. He noticed that there weren't any cars in the driveway, which meant Mr. Morris wasn't home. He was kind of disappointed. If he was home, they could have asked him to pick up some really good food, but it looked like they would have to settle for pizza.
"Looks like we're here guys." He said as they walked up the driveway. He stood on the doorstep, waiting for Leilani to open the door.
Leilani frowns when he heard no cooking then scoffs in his mind to agree. He had a point, it's been along since they hang out and do nothing without any work getting in the way. "....Alright. We can order pizza." He shrugs his shoulders, putting his hands behind his head as they continue walking. Arriving to their destination, the short brunette's house was on the right corner of the streets noticing no cars in the driveway. Still at work it seems. He'll leave a message to his father on the way inside.
