Colin slumped back against the red brick wall and stretched his legs out in front of him. Chewing the end of a slim green pencil, he surveyed the pale yellow printout that lay on his lap. At the top, in bold green was the heading "Gift of the Gab."

Colin's gossip blog was the rage of the school, to put it mildly, and had twice as many followers as the official blogs published by the respectable members of the student council. It was unabashed and lurid, imaginative and well researched. And right now, he was looking at a printout of the blog summary.

Smirking at the huge number of followers printed at the top right hand corner, Colin was wracking his brains, struggling to come up with an eyeball grabbing topic for his next piece. Raising his head, he caught sight of a familiar figure crossing the grounds. He couldn't take his eyes away. And just like that, the light bulb flashed.

"The Academy's Most Desirable", he murmured to himself, as he popped the pencil out of his mouth and scribbled the new topic on the back of the paper. Of course, it was time to get down to the research.

Sitting in the library, protected by a barrier of mismatched books that he had been arranging for the past three hours, Jack fumed silently.
Bastards.
Wankers!
Shitehawks!
He was sick of men, completely and utterly sick of them.
The moment he let his guard down and conceded to trust them, they sought the best and most embarrassing way of betraying that trust.
Well not anymore!
It was just him and the library now, the only thing he could confide in with unwavering consistency.

Flicking through a badly and scarcely illustrated textbook of modern science, he tried to ignore a stranger who was making a poor job of silently watching him.

He couldn't help but smirk when said stranger tripped over a messy pile of books, just as planned.
He turned to the nosy bugger and feigned innocence.
"Oh! Sorry!"
Apologizing profusely and in the finest insincerity, he was smiling inside.
Getting up to leave before the stalker could respond, he caught sight of of another new face through the libraries window.
A pretty boy leaning casually against a wall, clutching a notebook and studying those who passed by despite the obvious fact that it was freezing outside and the forecast was for pissing rain.
"Silly Bastard..." he muttered, before moving on.
