Reese Goldwhinn was not 'Super' when he walked into the public high school as a newly transfered Junior, Heck, Nobody even spared him a glance. He was not too intimidating with his messy orange hair that could use a trim and young face that looked more innocent then it ought to. He tried to carry himself with a little boldness while he went to find his first class, but realized by the time he reached the door that not one student bothered to stop and say 'Hi' to the kid that probably saved them once or twice when he was masked under a different identity....
So much for being new, he thought while he entered the classroom and looked for an open seat.

Craig Sand was just standing in the parking lot wondering why he saves lives, it doesnt pay, he receives no thanks. "Does anybody really need to be saved" he asked. Looking at the ground he shrugged and kept on walking.

After what felt like years, School was out for the day. Reese bolted out onto the sidewalk and started in the direction of a local coffee house nearly fuming. Those kids treated him like shit...Next time one of them needed saving, he'd conveniently not hear their cries for help.
"This City is going to hell anyway." He muttered to himself, pulling his hood up and scanning the street before crossing. "Might as well just keep working." After coffee, he told himself, he'd go and suit up for the night- Steel City would be his playground- He could take out some of this anger on local low-brow villains. Unless...There was another super hero in the city?
The thought made him stop for a second.
"...Nah, Not possible." He went inside the coffee shop and disregarded the thought entirely.

After school Craig was walking down the street when he saw a person being robbed. Craig just stared and then walk away. "Whats the point" he thought as he brushed his long sandy blonde hair out of his eyes.

Just as he was leaving the coffee place, Reese spotted the same person being robbed and went into action as a civilian. "Back off." He shouted, skirting the sidewalk to dash between the offender and victim before nailing the offender in the face so quickly the man couldn't even pull the blade conceded beneath his jacket. Reese smirked slightly and turned to see the victim had ran off.
The red head stood there feeling lame. It took him a moment to spot the blond haired person to his left lingering on the sidewalk. "So much for gratitude, right?" The boy commented, figuring the man had seen the spectacle.

"You do know hes just going to do this again right"

Reese blinked, staring at the stranger with wide brown eyes.
"You're not serious, right?"

Craig just stood there and look at the boy across from him. "about what"

"About that mugger, He wouldn't try that shit again." He shifted a bit, feeling fidgety. "There has to be other people who'd stop him, anyway."
