Today was the first day of school, and I was new to this particular high school. I didn't know the set-up, or where the classes were. In my hands was my class schedule with the room numbers and teacher's names typed on it, and a map of the school, trying to locate the first class of the day. It wasn't until the first bell rang, the bell that indicates everyone should be heading to class, that I realized my map was upside down, and that my first period class wasn't on it yet, because it was one of the newly built classrooms in the back. I fought my way against the flow of teenagers, trying to get behind the old building.

I had my schedule in hand and in the hallway walking towards my classroom. I sighed 'would the teacher be nice?' I walked towards the classroom faster when I heard the bell ring. A kid older than I him shoved past me and we bumped into each other "move it kid" he said as I fell to the floor, my stuff falling out of my shoulderbag "s-sorry" I didn't want to make an enemy, so I was polite. Shoot, my stuff was scattered all over the floor. I reached over to grab my notebook and someone stepped on my hand "ouch... Shoot" I winced

I had unknowingly stepped on some kids hand, and it freaked me out a little when he responded. I frowned and bent down to help him pick up his papers, "Idiot, why'd you go and spill your stuff on the floor for?" I scolded, picking up the papers and shoving them into his bag. At that time, I had noticed the schedule in his hand, and realized we had the same first period class. "Wait, isn't the classroom back there? Why're you going in the opposite direction?" I asked the boy, looking at his face for once. I scoffed a little, he looked a little girly. Even his pout was a little girly.

I look up as the boy shoved my stuff in my backpack "t-thank you" I look up at him and see he's looking at my schedule paper and asked me the question "am I going in the opposite direction?" I look at the map and panic "oh my gosh!" I stood up frantically and bowed at a 90 degree angle to the boy who helped me "thank you for helping me sir!" I start running towards the right direction... And tripped, falling to the floor "shoot!"

I was taken by surprise when he reacted once again, and fell back onto my bottom when he stood that quickly. I watched him run off, then realized I was holding his school book in my hand. I just sighed and shoved it in my messenger bag, then took off after him, this time shoving people out of my way so that I could at least make it to the door. Right when I entered the classroom, the bell had rung, and I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I chose the closest seat, then looked around to see what subject I had first. I noticed the girl to guy ratio, and thought to myself, 'Why are there always so many more girls?' When the third bell had rung, I moved my attention to the front of the class, hoping the teacher had assigned seats instead, since I wanted to sit in the front.
