Bio: Ethan is your average college student. He gets good grades, tries to turn in his assignments in on time with the best work he can produce on it. He has a loving family and good friends. Ethan didn't think anything strange could possibly happen to him. But that thought changes completely when he decides to explore the old cave a few miles away from his backyard. It always interested him and didn't think anything bad could happen to him. Though he then falls through the floor of it and winds up in a very unfamiliar place. Scared and confused Ethan is really in for quiet the surprise.

Ethan didn't think anything bad would happen to him. What could go wrong in an abandoned cave? It was simply a cave. Maybe he expected a few bats to come flying out at him, kind of stupid to think of bats in the area he was in. Ethan didn't know the floor of the cave would just give out underneath him, it seemed sturdy to him, just a solid cave floor. But no, he was wrong, dead wrong. Almost as soon as he walked into the cave, several miles away from his home, it gave away. All sorts of thoughts went through his mind as he panicked 'I'm going to die, I'm going to die!" was the final string of thoughts went through his head before he blacked out.

Ethan gave a groan. His head hurt and his body felt a bit sore. The last thing he remembered was falling through the cave floor that was a few miles away from his backyard. Ethan didn't open his eyes as he sat up "Great, the cave was miles from my home, I doubt anyone will be looking for me soon let alone there" he said as he stood up. Ethan dusted himself off before rubbing his head. He mumbled to himself before he noticed that something wasn't right. If he fell through the cave floor he was expecting another cave, not green foliage and a sky, with some noises of a forest.

Ethan was shocked at this and he was confused. Where was he? How was this even possible. A bit wobbly he started to walk. He had no idea where he was going. But he had to walk to somewhere. The blond had to figure out where he was. So determined to get out he started into a light jog. Soon it turned out into a full out sprint. Ethan didn't know where he was going until he burst out from some bushes and ran into some people. He tripped over them and stood up to apologize until he realized they didn't look human...well not completely. It seemed like they had some animal features.

The man was speechless as the men he ran into stood up as they examined him. The smaller of the two, yet still looking pretty strong, snickered "Well look now. It seems to me like a human as come into our midst. No features or anything like us. I don't remember the last time we had one of these. He'll make something good for us~" the man said happily. Ethan started to back away as the other man started to speak "Yeah. What luck for us!" he said laughing. Ethan didn't know what they meant but he didn't like it as he continued to back away from them, scared and confused at what they would do to him.

Not far from where the human had woken up, a young man with snake-like features was browsing through the forest foliage. He wore a skillfully made cloth pouch around his waist. It was a helpful tool when it came to collecting his plants. With them, he made medicines and creams for the locale village. It wasn't an extremely well paying job, but he didn't mind. His existance was simple and the pay he receieved from the town's doctors was more than enough to support his lifestyle.

After gathering what he needed from this particular area, the snake-like boy rose to his feet and brushed off his pants. Time to move to a new location. He looked up at the sky, lifting his hand to shield his narrow eyes from the bright sun's rays of golden light. "Mmm... a lovely day..." he murmured before starting on his way.

It was a good ten minutes of walking before he happened across two men giving someone a hard time. He paused to observe the situation before deciding to intervene. "Excuse me," the blond Naga said as he drew closer to the developing situation. He looked directly at what seemed to be a human man. "So here is where you wandered off too," he said to him, his soft voice growing firm. "I've been looking for you everywhere."

When the time was right, the Naga boy winked at the human, hoping he would catch on to the fact that the action was a subtle way to tell him play along. "Get over here right now, you!" he barked then, raising his voice to push his little act further along.

Ethan continued to back away as the men got closer. He didn't want to go anywhere with them, he just wanted to go home. But based on the situation he was in Ethan had a feeling he wasn't going to go home any time soon. And as they got closer Ethan put his arms up in defense, ready to fight if need be before he heard a third voice. The blond looked up and this time it was a man that had, at least to him, some snake like pictures. At first he was confused by what he said but then it registered in his head what was going on. He had seen things like this in movies before and it made him smile inwardly.

But at the raised voice he kind of flinched but quickly moved over to the other man. If it would get him out of this situation he would be more than happy to oblige him. Though he couldn't help but to wonder why this...man if he could say was helping him. It was nice but they didn't know each other so the had no business with each other. Ethan simply hoped there wasn't a catch to this.

The newcomer was relieved when the human rushed to his side, apparently catching onto his subtle, and not so subtle, hints. The other two men seemed far from pleased, however. One stepped forward, his fists raised. "Just what do you think you're doing, punk?" he asked gruffly.

The shorter man followed his lead. "Yeah, mind your own business. This is our catch," he insisted, "So just leave the human and get lost, newt!"

The snake boy stared calmly at the two larger creatures before he started laughing, no doubt baffling the pair. Finally, he spoke again. "A newt, am I?" he asked, shaking his head. "My, my, the words that come from uneducated mouths never cease to amaze me. Still, I wouldn't be fair for me to call you that... Stupid suits the two of you much better."

"What did you say?!" roared the shorter man. "You better take that back, kid!"

Green, slitted eyes narrowed dangerously. "Oh? Why should I?" he asked before continuing. "You two baffoons can't hurt me. You're aware of what I really am... I could kill you where you stand if I wanted to... Or at least blind you." The Naga boy flashed a toothy smile, showing his needle-like fangs. "It's just a matter of whether or not my aim is good enough... Would you bet your life on that?"

The two thugs were obviously unnerved by this, as they lowered their fists and took a slow step away. It was a couple of minutes later before the men finally backed down completely and fled from the path, heading off into the forest's thick brush, hopefully never to be seen again.

Ethan stayed behind the newcomer as he watched the other two men. They didn't seem very pleased at the decision that he made. He hoped the man who was helping him would be alright, if he had to he would try to help protect him, after all he was helping him. But he was still scared for being 21 years old. Ethan had no idea where he was, what these people where and why he was here. He would definately have to get answers as soon as he was done but his first priorities was to get the hell away from here without dying or getting captured.

But Ethan was trying to think of a way to escape before the shorter of the two yelled. It made him flinch at the sudden outburst from the man. He almost wanted to yell right back before the the man in front of him spoke again. Ethan couldn't help but to look up and see the fangs that he had. Judging by those he seemed to be more snake like than in appearance. The thought gave him some worry for he thought that maybe this man was trying to be nice to him but wanted the satisfaction these other two wanted. It made his heart sink.

When he saw the two men back off and run down the path it made him smile slightly before looking to the other man "Um...Thank you. I wouldn't know what to do if you hadn't come along. To be honest...I...really don't know where I am or how I got here exactly..." he said looking around before turning back "I'm Ethan by the way" he said extending his hand warily.

His face relaxing after the men were gone, the snake creature breathed a small sigh of relief. "Thank goodness..." he murmured, "They fell for it..." he added before clearing his throat, implying that he had been bluffing throughout most of, if not the entire situation. When the human spoke up, the young man turned to face him.

He offered an almost nervous smile. "I guess it was just through luck that I decided to come this way to day... Glad I got here in time, or I'm not sure what those two would have tried to do to you... considering."

As the other boy introduced himself and offered his hand, the Naga looked at the out-stretched limb curiously. He grasped it after a moment, but didn't shake it. Instead, he began to study his hand intently, poking his palm a little, examining and counting his fingers. He even turned it over to inspect the back.

"My word... You really are... a human, aren't you?" he asked, somewhat wide-eyed now. "Oh! Wh-Where are my manners? I'm Rafiel. Call me Rafi, though, please," he blurted out then, blushing a little.

Ethan was giving a small frown when the other man didn't take his hand. He was a bit worried that some how he might have offended him. But when he did take it he was glad and tried to shake his hand but instead the naga was studying it. He looked at him curiously and wondered why he was looking his hand over. To him it didn't make any sort of sense and it was making him a bit uneasy.

When the other said that he really was human it surprised him "Of course I am...why wouldn't I be?" he asked softly. Though when the man finally introduced himself it made him smile "Nice to meet you Rafi" he said happily "So...um...what now?"

Rafi eventually released Ethan's hand after examining it for a couple of minute more. He looked confused and a little embarrassed. "No, no... Not so much as to say, 'why wouldn't you be'... It's just that... Well, there hasn't been a human sighting around here in years... not even in my life time," the naga tried to explain, his expression becoming concerned now.

"Honestly... I'm not sure what to do now..." he answered, referring to the boy's question. "I... didn't exactly expect this when I came out this morning..."

The long-haired boy paused to think. "Hmm... can you tell me where you came from, Ethan? It obviously wasn't from around here... Do you know which way you came before you got to this spot?"

He was honestly worried for his new human friend and it showed, the naga racking his brain for some sort of plan as to how to deal with this situation.

Ethan looked around when Rafi asked where he came from. From what happened he was a bit disorientated but he figured if he took a moment he could find out which way he came from. So without saying anything Ethan looked around. He knew it was on the left side of where he was and looked for traces that he was there. He had never done it before but he thought it would be easy, though it took him longer than he thought. Ethan finally found where he came from for it was more disturbed thean the rest for he was running at the time.

The blond looked up to Rafi "It's over here" he called before pushing through the shrubbery and started to follow his trail to the best of his ability. It should be easy to find the spot where he came from for he hoped it would be the spot that would be most disturbed.

Rafi stood patiently as Ethan scanned their immediate area. He watched the boy's head turn from side to side as he tried to gain his bearings. He wanted to smile at how adorable the confused human boy looked, but his worry for his new friend kept him from doing it.

When Ethan finally announced that he'd found the correct direction and began to lead the way, Rafi followed. He had no problems with the slightly overgrown brush surrounding them as their hiked their way through the forest. It was now Rafi's turn to look around. He was trying to thinking of anything around this place that could have led Ethan here.

Sadly, however, he was drawing a blank. Other than rocks, tree, flowers, grass, and well, the sky.. there wasn't much more too this particular place.

"Hm... It's very strange..." the Naga murmured under his breath as the two pressed on. "If this is the way you came, then... Let's see..." Rafi added then, speaking a little louder. "Ethan, where were you a couple of hours ago? Were you still in this area?"
