Falling for the Help (For Sentaro)

[Kaido]

Today was a warm and sunny day. No clouds in the sky. Birds chirping away, and everything was quite peaceful in the wealthy side of town. Rolling up to the gates of one the most biggest manors. A taxi was parked, letting some one out. The young male timidly smiled at the driver and handed him the money that he owned to him. Then the cab drove away. Leaving the lad all to himself.

He let out a sigh and looks at the letter once more. Given to his father. Who had lost his battle to a lethal illness. It was sad to see his father gone. Him and his older brother were the only family he had left. Expect his brother walked out on them years ago. So his father was really the only family he had left. In the letter it tells him that the Takano family were very kind to him and it was time for him to show them kindness.

Takahiro took a deep, shaky breath and walks up to the gate. Seeing that there was a doorbell for people to ring. Before pressing it. He takes a look at the mansion. He couldn't believe just how big it was. Again with a deep breath. He presses the button. Waiting for someone to reply through the intercom.

[Sentaro]

In a room that was sheltered from any kind of sunlight a boy sat. He's not a grown man but no kid either. Tears could be seen in his eyes. This boy, who's name is Akihiko Takano, still mourns the death of his prescious butler and friend Kouno-san. A bell rings and he's torn from his sleep-like state. Sluggish Akihiko walks to the intercom to answer. "Who's there?"

[Kaido]

He yelped when he heard the voice. Not knowing that it was the master of the home. "I-um...My-my name is um, Takahiro Kouno. You see...my-my father used to be-be the butler here. So....I am um,...here to...take his place. To-to be the next butler to the Takano family." he said in just a quiet voice. Sounding very timid and nervous. For he had no idea what the family was really like or anything. His father had mention the family's one and only son a couple of times, but it different to hear about a person then knowing the person for real.

[Sentaro]

He fell silent for a moment out of surprise and to really understand what the shaky, little voice just transmitted him. "Kouno-san's son...? I-I didn't k-know he had one...oh please come in then." Akihiko said awakining from his silent state again and pushed the bottom to open the gate and front door. He orded some maid to get him other clothes and change him quickly, while sending another maid to get Kouno-san's son...that Takahiro.

[Kaido]

He took a step back as the gate started to open. Sighing with relief that they didn't call to police on him, thinking that he was was some nut. He was actually not surprise that they didn't know that the former butler had a son. His father didn't like to talk about his job that much. He once told him that he didn't like to talk about because he hated his job. He just like having two different lives. One as a butler and the other as a father.

Making his way to the door. He looks around and was just amazed at everything. There were beautiful flowers everywhere. A luxurious fountain with a angel standing on top of it. There was a parked limo out front. Which he never seen one before. It felt like it took him forever to reach the from door. Feeling more and more nervous. Was this even going to work out. He dropped out of school because of this. If it did where was he suppose to go? he signed away his one room apartment.

A maid came up to Takahiro and politely told him to follow her to the master room. They walked passed the foyer, went up a set of stairs, made a few turns in hallways, went up another set of stairs, went to the right and stopped in front of a very detail double door. The maid stepped up and knocks. "Sir, I have brought Kouno-san's son." she said well mannered. Then looks at the boy.

He was a little on the skinny side. Wearing clothes that looked a little to big on him. A white button up shirt under a celadon green wool sweater. He also wore his best pair of jeans. Which were dark wash and white sneakers.Mostly his had his hair in a ponytail, but it was loose. Tugging some of it behind his ear. Thinking of who the master was. His soon to be boss.

[Sentaro]

Just in time I finished changing my clothes before he arrived. I heared the knocking and voice from the maid that should and did bring that mystirious boy here. I let the maid who helped me change open the door and then told both of them to leave for now. I looked the boy up and down and begin to slightly smile. 'Hmm...there is definitely a great similarity.' I think pushing my glasses up with one hand. "So your Kouno-san's son? Hm...You said something about taking his place. Did you really thought that would be so easy? You come here and just replace him? No my boy you have to start at zero." I say getting a bit out of hand, but as I look at the young boy again I see his nervousness I take a deep breath to regain my composure. "I apologise for my rudeness please take a seat and let us talk about it."

[Kaido]

The maid opened the door and let the other maid and the boy in. Of course he he was a bit scared. The room, everything was so big and looked so pricey. He was afraid that he might dirty something if he walked in. But when one of the made give him a glare saying 'Don't keep the master waiting, hurry up'. Then made him tensed and quickly stumbles in. Watching the others leave him alone with the master. He was lightly trembling. Getting worse as the other male looks at him. "Is there something on my face? Is it the clothes that I am wearing? These are my best and I washed them three time before coming here." he said to himself. Fearing that he might not hire him at all.

When asked if he was really Kouno-san son. He was about to speak, but quickly shut it as he said that he just couldn't replace his father. That he had to start at zero. Just the tone alone terrorfied him enough. "I know! I'm sorry!" he said nervously and looking down at the ground. After he took a deep breath he looks up at him. While he apologize for his rudeness. He smiles and said "I-it's quite alright." in a calm but still very shy voice. But as he smiles. He had the exact same smile as his father. There was no doubting it. There was something in the smile that was calming and peaceful. Making you think that things will turn out alright.

Takahiro took a seat when told to sit. Keeping his back straight, hands in his lap and his head low. "I-I know that I will never truly replace my father. I knew that long before coming here. He and I are so different from one another." he spoke quietly. "I-It's just that my father was so-so grateful to your family. He-he told me that it it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here. Y-Yet I don't know how. He never told me the reason. If-if I am a bother. I-I can leave now. But please...let me serve you."

[Sentaro]

Akihiko looks surprised as the young boy smiled. 'They have even the exact same smile.' He thought and immediately had to smile to. Kouno-san's smile always was so warm and caring he just felt safe when he saw it and now as he saw that same smile from that boy he thought he would be dreaming. After Takahiro sad down he did the same and heard the young boy out. "First of all would you at least look at me when talking. And I never said I didn't want you here. Especialy when it was your father's wish." I said laughing and kindly smiled at him once more before continuing. "You just have to learn everything. Your father had to. But can I ask you something personally?"

[Kaido]

"O-Oh! S-Sorry!" he said. Lifting his head up and looks him in the eyes. Starting to think that he was already starting out bad. He remembered that his father mention that when talking to Akihiko, you had to look at him. He was already screwing up. His mind was starting to have the snowball effect. One bad thought leads to another until it comes out with the worse results. As hestarted to laugh. He could help but to smile timidly. Even so it still had the warm feeling like his father's. Most of all he was so relief that he wasn't going to kick him out. Letting out a huge sigh. As if he was holding his breath this whole time.

While hearing him out, saying that he would have to learn everything. He nodded his head. For he knew that. You have to learn how to crawl before you walk and learn how to walk before you run. At least, that how the lad saw it. Now for something he wasn't expecting. Him wanting to ask him a personal question. "S-Sure. What is-is it you want to know?" he asked in a shy and even more quiet voice. For he was hardly ever asked a personal question. Maybe it was more about his father. He was getting a feeling that he and his father were close to one another.

Akihiko smiled as the boy finally looked at him and begun speaking kindly. He didn't want to intimidate him, he already looked nervous enough. "Thank you! I would like to know from you if this is really what you want to do, or do you just do it because of your father. Please answer honestly." He said politely and once again pushed up his glasses.
